Cheekyy ****.. You don't get Ben Sherman in sports direct It's old school, new school. I;ve just spent quite a bit in one today. I like my old older named brands, as much as i try to like the newer. It's like i can't stand Nike, but like Adidas (like the thread not long ago) I llove Docs, but hate Timerlands etc.
Am I right in thinking Ben Sherman is popular with ex military men, such as yourself, or have I dreamt that up? I know it's popular with scooter boys as well.
Doc Martens (R Griggs Group Ltd) were a client of mine when I was in practice ... fabulous company / group of people ... their offices at Wollaston nr Wellingborough are an expansion of the old house that the Griggs family used to live in ..... the family sold the business to a VC house just before I left practice ... they still make some of their footwear at a small factory shop in Wollaston ... had the factory tour a few times ... fascinating ... and very skilled - the "Made In England" range are hand finished (welted) ... the boots in your sig look like cherry red 1460's ...which were the originals ...
Always CAT over Timbs for me, I prefer Timbs on girls though, they're defo more of a girly boot. Wouldn't be seen dead in a pair of Doc Martens, they remind me of Spud from Trainspotting.
