Bet he refers to being on a journey in his first interview.

Had a crap time at the Blunts, and at Reading, so it's been a while since he's been any sort of success. Can only hope we see an improvement but I'm not holding out hope.

Admittedly, initially underwhelmed re: Adkins, but having mulled it for a few days, I think it’s about as good as it gets given the current state of play.

He’s had four jobs – two really good/two poor.

But, I think both Reading and Sheff U were tough gigs at the time, both aspiring/demanding promotion, both, no doubt, dripping with delusion.

Adkins’ work at Scunthorpe was phenomenal – a club of that size winning League 1? Unthinkable for them for decades and I think they’re still basking in the aftershocks. They’re a bona fide Div 4 club ‘tout a doubt.

I think Adkins will comfortably see us right this season. He’ll organise the mess and take us to mid-table by season end.

    Long term – who knows?

I doubt the Allams care about the long term.

    One thing at a time.

1/ We have to avoid relegation.

2/ We have to kill Ehab.

No no, I meant it the other way around..

The last ten words in that clip could be VERY prophetic.

Well, as other have said under the circumstances Adkins is probably not a bad fit. I think he will get us back to being more organised, but like OLM says I won't being looking forward to his pressers as it drives me mad listening to him.

His interviews mean nothing to me. He and the squad should have one aim.

I don't have to tell you I know.

Couldn't agree more, if he is doing a good job, then I can tolerate his clichés, it just if things are not going well and he trots out the excuses that get's up my nose. Let's hope he can mould this lot into a functioning team.
