Friday night football here from Niort v Chateauroux. I swear that Niort must have some basketball players in their attack as it is made up with players of the Ross Jenkins statue. The Chats have some defenders 6'.1" or so, but their attackers are towering over them.

Are the wheels starting to come off the Huddersfield wagon? They started off so well, but have been slowly sinking towards the wrong end of the table, and the loss tonight must knock their confidence.

 

Away form is very poor - might have to rely on their home performances.

 

I've just seen that Brora Rangers beat Fort William 16-0 in the Highland League. Apparently it's a 6 hour round trip for Fort William.

 

Blimey - just seen the Man U v Arsenal game.

Man U won 3-1 but De Gea put in a master class in goal.

 

Not for much longer possibly - there's a move afoot to have them drop back to a local league. Apart from playing in the shadow of Ben Nevis, they've got nothing going for them.
