Dribs posted an articel on Adam Lewis earlier.

I thought it a good time to expand on that and highlight whats gone on this season thus far at underage level:

    1. U23s

After 11 games LFC sit top of the table on 27 points, 6 clear of Leicester. We've won 9 and lost 2.

    Players to watch:

Gk: Kamil Grabara. From Poland, is 18 and a tall boy already.
CM: Herbie Kane: local lad, central midfield.
Rw: Harry Wilson: captain, welsh internation and is 20. Needs a break in our senior team. scoring for fun.
RW: Bobby Adekanye 18, dutch and ex barca lad (we got him after thier transfer ban and forced them to release him. Finally coming good after injuries.
CF: Rhian Brewster 17, we stole him from chelsea

    others:
LW Yan Dhanda 18 year old and looks very good, not as good as others but has time.
ACM: Ovie Ejaria already played for our seniors we all know him.

    2. U18s:

After only playing 8 games LFC are 4th, 3 points behind city on same games. everyone else is after playing 10 games. our record is 5-3-0

    Players to watch:
Patrik Raitanen CB. settling into club having been bought this summer. only 16.
Adam Lewis LB: 18, due a promotion to u23s. just turned 18 this month.
Edvard Tagseth CM: 16 also bought this summer. looks an absolute talent
Curtis Jones CM: 16 local lad, really really good kid this one. the local to watch IMO
Glen McAuley CF: 17 another one to watch IMO we poched him out of ireland 2 years ago.

    Others:
Liam Coyle DCM: 17, aother local lad.
Elijah Dixon-Bonner CM: 16 years old, looks decent
Rafael Camacho 17, bit of a firmino in this lad, we got him on a trial out of portugal. can play anywhere.
Liam Millar CF: 18. on a pro deal and is from canada. seems decent but has a lot of competition

    3. U19s.

Liverpool have won their CL group already record is 4-0-1 with the lost being away to spartak. the u19s are really just a combo of players at the above to ages under gerrard.

Group is easier but the next round awaits.

IMO theres some good talent floating around the club and it will be interesting to see if many of them make a move up as klopp comes under more pressure for results.

Theres some real talent here are there.

I don't see a really good CB but in CM, wings and striker areas and the LB dribs mentioned today theres some potential.

It's that next step that matters. I'm a bit disappointed that Woodburn hasn't been used much this season I really thought he was ready but it looks like Klopp thinks otherwise.

yeah, opportunity is hard to get.

Thats the first real step for any of them. Just that break to get a start and then taking it.

Being brave enough to move as well.

But then 17/18 is young for some.

We all know 99.95% of youths we look at for LFC underage teams get nowhere. But we've had a decent little crop recently but once fans get o nthe back of a manager and demand that we play the front 4 every game even if it knackers them its pretty tough to find games to develop players in.

I think we've a nice little u18s team coming up and if gerrard progresses up with them it could provide them a platform to come in when the time does come that klopp moves on. He stays 5/7 years at last two clubs. if he stays here that long it should be good for us as a club in terms of success I hope but after that... gerrard will prob be the one fans demand that he comes in ala zidane.

Its a shame we have not a league 1 team like real and bara have to give gerrard the experience and these kids too. I still think the league cut its own throat not allowing it as the gates it would bring in league 1 would have benefited everyone.

    one day it might happen.

I also think moving the whole team over to kikby will help but not for these kids IMO is current 12-14 year olds that might benefit from it.

Haven’t really kept up to date with youth, not since they stopped having lfc tv as a freebie with the games on there.

Might ve a blessing for kids though as don’t get too much hype too early.

Be nice for a couple more to come throigh in nextfew years. Had Gomez and TAA this year fighting it out for RB. Woodburn will prob get some game time in the cups.

Ironicslly, it’s better for the youngstets when in Europa as they generally get more game time.

yeah.. Europa flopping has served.spurs quite well.

    winks, kane and some others.

we were too incompetant to.even get europa so we can't complain.

I saw that Ryan Kent has done nothing at Freiberg and will be brought home in Jan... not ideal.for him but not a shock... klopp gave him some time preseason but he has failed to exploit the opportunities

Rhian Brewster was reportedly furious at the end of Liverpool 19s' win over Spartak Moscow on Wednesday
Liverpool have officially complained to UEFA over alleged racist abuse aimed at Rhian Brewster in the Youth League clash with Spartak Moscow on Wednesday.

Brewster, who won the Golden Boot as England won the U17 World Cup this summer, had to be dragged away by Liverpool team-mates and staff at the final whistle of the U19 side's 2-0 win - which was played at Prenton Park.

The striker was reportedly upset by what was said to him by one of the Russian defenders.

The Russian kid making the racist remarks has learnt well from the elders at the club, it's steeped in racism.
