Well it's a little more like we have a department store on our door stop that allows us to buy and sell peacefully without any restrictions and with who we collectively bargain when we buy and sell elsewhere. Now it's fine and might be in our best interests to leave that department store if we know we can get better deals that more suit our needs elsewhere. But what are these deals? Surely before you relocate you make sure you know that you're going to be ok before making such a monumental leap of faith? There's been no homework, no preparation and no one has offered strong arguments for where the EU has held us back or indeed what our USP is when we're trading after we've left. Our biggest industry is the service sector and in particular financial services which has been massively helped by being a bridge between Europe and the US - this is not going to be helped by leaving the EU indeed there has already been losses on this We have the fourth largest aerospace industry which again is intricately linked to Europe and if we do decide to stomp off in a hard Brexit huff then there are other countries rubbing their hands to get their hands on the chance to do wing production for Airbus. We also do work for the American Boeing, Canadian company Bombadier (who ironically were under threat by America until Airbus took them over to protect them saving jobs in Belfast). The list go on and on like this including pharmaceutical, nuclear, universities etc etc So again what have we been held back from doing by the EU, what have we identified as the opportunities we will exploit the moment we leave the EU and what have we being doing to prepare to be ready the moment we leave? Because with those idiotic ideological chancers in charge so far we've had Boris saying British Tea, Jam and Biscuits will be at the heart of our post Brexit trade and David Out Of My Depth Davies lying that we have done over 60 detailed impact reports on the effects on the different sector before now admitting that there are no detailed reports....
I say all that knowing that in the end we'll get the blame as it'll be our fault for not believing in the Brexit Fairy hard enough....

It's just a difference in opinion, you think the bottom will fall out of the UK after brexit, I think we will be OK, neither of us know for sure.
Yep I predicted that the blame would be aimed at (in no particular order): - British business for failing to seize the opportunity of exporting to Chad and North Korea - remainers for being traitorous obstructors - any democratically elected MP who opposed anything pro Brexit, as that would be undemocratic - the EU for being unreasonable and trying to punish us (AKA looking after the interests of the 27 remaining members)

I agree it's a difference of opinion but that was one of my main issues with the referendum - it only offered an exit. The people offering the exit didn't have to put forward any proposal for life after Brexit which is why you had people like Farage and Hannan saying we wouldn't leave the single market. At least at an election you have to put forward proposals and they are normally costed. They might not always be credible costings or proposals but at least they can be examined and challenged. Still struggling to see any concrete proposals from anyone as to what we are going to do after Brexit and what the impact of that will be - which for such a monumental decision is inexcusable.
