Finally got the latest Marvel series, THe Punisher, finished tonight.

A great show. After a couple of weaker entries with Luke Cage, Iron Fist and the Defenders, Marvel's Netflix shows are back on track for me. Looking forward to the new series of Daredevil and Jessica Jones in the new year.

    EDIT: <laugh> Nice timing, Lewis.

I've only watched Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Might give the other ones a miss.

I'm about to start from series 4. Will I be able to follow it, not having seen 1-3 ?

Each series is good in its own right, but it would be a bit daft to not watch it from the start and know the full story.

They aren't horrible, but they just aren't massively interesting. Luke Cage is alright I suppose, but his best stuff is in Jessica Jones.

I'd watch The Defenders purely because it's them all teaming up, and it's shorter than the other ones, only 8 episodes.

Start from the beginning, a lot will make no sense if you just jump in from series 4.

yeah, Dark Matter was decent for an 'A-team in space' type Sci fi, reminded me a bit of blakes 7 (without the **** effects) gutted I only just discovered it as they cancelled it.

Have you tried 'The Expanse', it's by far my favourite Sci-fi show, well worth a watch even if you don't like Sci fi.

It's clever stuff this, CGI converting an abandoned street in Toxteth, Liverpool, to a street in Small Heath, Birmingham in 1919...

Nothing meant by this but it's interesting (to me at least) that the 2 photos are taken from opposite ends of the street.

It's not tarmac, in the show the roads are dusty, gravelly type stuff.
