What I was trying to say, which I didn't make clear. That if he sells anytime after the end of this year, then he doesn't have to declare it until April the next year. I was giving him a period of four months in the 2018 so he declares by April 2019.. Hope that explains what I was attempting to get across.
Didn't Bexleyboy say on ITTV that Roland was going to sell Charlton Athletic today? The hour is getting late...
Squirrel face turned up at the BTTV evening at the museum last night. This confirms what I have said all along about fat bum. She's an antagonistic individual, amongst other things. Why would she want to attend with her zero interest in all things Charlton and knowing she would not be well received?! She would not have done this in SE16, a horrible individual of the highest order.
A while ago he also said the club had already been sold secretly (back in the summer) and suggested that everything since has just been a smokescreen.
100% correct. Meire is not only a coward - witness the way she has repeatedly goaded fans on match days while hiding behind her two fat bodyguards - she is an antagoniser as well. No doubt her gigantic ego has been hurt by Tom Rubberjonny ordering her to stop gobbing off in the media. Obscurity as a low grade provincial Belgian solicitor looms.
So is it back on.? Who are the latest interested parties Aussies, Red Bull Local Business man etc. I still don't believe that RD will walk away without at least getting his money back, so I'm not that confident. Hope I'm wrong.
Would you really want Charlton to be bought by someone who is a big enough sucker to pay Roland's asking price?
i think whoever it is, whether they're good/bad/ugly has to be an improvement on RD. RD is borderline autistic, he owns us for no reason whatsoever, has no ambition and refuses to talk to anyone about his mad ideas. The next guy or girl will at least want success and to achieve what a football club is there for - to move up the leagues where possible. If it doesnt work out for the next person, they'll at least see the rationale of letting go and letting someone else try. RD cannot do that as he still believes he is correct, despite national media, football pro's, pundits, 10's of thousands of fans telling him he is wrong every week. next time the baton is passed on, not only do they need a fit and proper persons test done, they need to do a sanity check too. RD is off his chops, there is no talking to someone that deluded.
http://www.kentlive.news/sport/foot...n-athletic-owner-890504#ICID=sharebar_twitter there ya go. that's how much funding we'll get in january = 0
I thought I would copy the text to separate it out from all the adverts and stuff. Karl Robinson says he has spoken to Roland Duchatelet just once since the summer. And that was when he wanted to recruit Leon Best to boost striker options and numbers - particularly in the midst of an injury crisis. Duchatelet has been in the news this week revealing he would listen to offers to sell Charlton - although nobody is sure of the amount he is asking for. He has often been criticised for treating supporters as customers and not fans and he certainly had his business head on when Robinson asked whether he could sign Best on a short-term deal. Robinson takes up the story. "The only conversation I've had with him [Duchatelet] was regarding Leon Best," he said. "I told him we were low on numbers and needed a player. He asked who it was and we had to pull the documentation together to show him the reasons why, not just because we want him, but what he [Best] can do for the club. "The first question I got asked back was 'do you have an academy graduate who can take his place?' That was the first question. I said 'yes but they are also needed in other areas'. I then later got a phone call from Richard [Murray, director] to say we could take him until January." I don't know why Karl Robinson puts up with being treated like this. Who does he think he is being loyal to? An old man who isn't even interested in football anymore, and was never interested in Charlton Athletic. An owner who does not answer emails from his manager. An owner who has no connection at all with the Club he is ruining.
I used to think he must be on a decent bonus to get us promoted, but no, it can't be that. That would imply that Roland is prepared to spend money to get promotion. Call me naive, but I think he likes the club. He also wants to improve his CV after being sacked from his last job, and has to decide what is more damaging, resigning in protest or getting sacked in the summer if we don't go up. He has a very optimistic nature, and was probably looking through rose-tinted spectacles when he was offered the job. There must be a limit to his optimism though, and this interview, plus a recent statement that he respects boycotting fans and understands that they are doing it for love of the club, shows a shift in loyalty, although that may well be due to the CEO lying to him about the club not being for sale.
I thought "Angeldust" is only supposed to appear when there really is something going on. Or is this urban myth just another ITTV group delusion...
