Afternoon all... In regards to the Newport game, my biggest fear would be playing the reserves and winning 6-0 because the next day there would be a massive call for several reserve players to be included in the first team 11 ignoring the fact it was poor opposition.
The ones I suggested plus Nessie are all first team squad, all sat on the bench with most having played for the first team. However you're correct in thinking many are reserves because our bench isnt equiped
Hi Leeds 60 one of my customers is very good friends with Brian Gunn and was telling me Leeds had chance of bringing his son Angus in on loan for the season. Man city were happy for him to come to us, the lad wanted to come as he could commute from Manchester where he lives. Turns out Leeds never followed up on the initial interest and he went to Norwich. Opportunitiy missed I feel maybe there would have been a chance of signing him if it had worked out who knows.
He may or may not be Mike but I just think priority needs to be first team squad for this and next season at the moment. We need to get out of this wilderness of a division to stop the constant cycle of players wanting out like Wood. Take away Burnleys status as a pl league club and theres not one other thing that would have tempted him away or Saiz this summer
