We have also been told for months now that the UK will be broke if we leave the EU and no one will have any money and everything will cost a fortune? ....? .....?
If we won't have any money who will be buying all those German Cars? The Romanians?....Bulgarians?.....Estonia?...Cyprus?....Croatia?...The mass car sales in Finland...Hungary...Latvia or Malta, Slovakia. Or will it be the cash-rich Italians?
I can see it now...Greece will come to the rescue. You give them a car and the promise to repay in a years time but default so you give them the money to pay you back and they spend it.
You cannot have it both ways. This is why a deal will be struck because too many companies will lose out.

Not surprised that Arlene Forster stuck he twopenneth in and she's right to highlight what a lot of people seem to be forgetting here in Southern Ireland is that Northern Ireland is part of the UK and will leave the EU at the same time as the rest of the UK.

There's a lot of suspicion that the Irish Government stance is a United Ireland by stealth and the argument about it being down to the UK Government to sort out a soft border is seen as naïve on Veradker's part, the Irish Government has to become proactive and start engaging with London on this matter and not simply hide behind the EU who after all totally screwed Ireland when it bailed it out 10 years or so ago......

I see Ireland has just got richer after being told they must collect 13 billion from Apple.

No I am not comparing a outpost to the UK if i were which part of the UK would you choose ... It's divided and you have 48% emeries probably today that actual figure would be 70%. Absolutely confident that second vote if it came you would see a swing.

Tax is more than that on average but there again everything works better ... if you don't know that then you have no idea about France

Why is it people that now live abroad seem to be the most vocal about Brexit? What are they worried about? Missing out on the NHS?

Problem is that it doesn't all belong to Ireland, it has to be divided up between the countries where the income was generated. The EU are just using Ireland as a collection agency.....

This is the real white elephant in the room Tramore. I think it’s reasonable for Irish politicians to try and ensure that any deal does not either undo a lot of the hard political softening that’s been achieved since the GFA or close the door completely on the possibility of a United Ireland in the future.
That’s why the DUP are standing so firm.

There’s a long history of mistrust between both governments. I honestly believe it’s time all the cards were put on the table here.

Meanwhile, can the rest of us just get on with this Brexit malarkey?

We were within a gnat’s chuff of at last making some progress towards beginning discussions on what will be a worse than we have now deal, but at least it was progress. Now we are dragged back into 1,000 years of history which hasn’t got anything to do with the EU.

Anyway, David Davis has said in Parliament that the whole of the U.K. will adopt to ‘no divergence from EU regulations’ position, so the DUP can **** off. Now of course he has Jake Rees Mogg and his mob to deal with instead.

I will leave the future of Ireland to the Irish. When the North votes to join the Republic, and the Republic votes to let them in, that’s it. Northern Ireland is of course the most heavily subsidised bit of the U.K., so it’s not a cost free option.

Could I just point out, one last time, that I was only saying "tell them to **** off" when the EU were simply blocking all progress. I want a deal that is good for all if at all possible.

Col there are certain quarters that are trying to derail our democratic vote. We have seen it from the coverage of BBC/SKY. I have witnessed and read in the press scaremongering to make people who voted leave to question their decision. The fact is the EU is a corrupt organization that has taken the P out of us and is now paying the price. They are sh2ting themselves in Europe because the second biggest contributor is walking away leaving the Germans and the French to cough up more money which they don't want to do or have. The only reason they want so much money is because they know it's going tits up.

The EU as it stands is in a weak position as many countries and the people of those countries are questioning the EU.
Take the countries of Germany/France/Austria/Holland. All have had recent elections and all have seen a major growth of the far right. Why? Because of immigration and lack of jobs for the young. Italy and Greece are basket cases and sooner or later one of them will leave. Catalonia problems.

I posted a report last week regarding poverty in the EU and no one wanted to debate it, why? because it shows the true look of Europe under the EU flag. The whole thing is geared up for big business and they are not interested in the people.

We won't have much to worry about because the whole EU thing is falling to bits and I see it collapsing when we eventually leave (if they allow us to).

Never thought I'd agree with Ed Miliband but I think he's got it spot-on here, although they're still better than letting Jezza and Abbott loose on the economy...

    Dearest Ellers,
Have previously given the benefit of doubt as to your astuteness.
Allow for one night only for a pure simpleton of a man to implode upon you what is going on outside of the lives of Mckinsey,BCG, PWC et al.
Companies based out of the UK are running **** scared. My KPIs are running ridiculously and when Stan bothers to meet up he'll enjoy why.
I do not like it, the Danes don't particularly think it's fair but it is happening.
I am lying if I don't admit to having those same ( let's call it what they are) Anarchistic hatred towards "Big Finance"
I love taking a swipe at them every time, I get more opportunity than "Joe" but it still never hurts enough.
That civil ear that DT aspires to is on the way, just that it is going to be apocalyptic.
