As one of the few Brexiteers on here who posts interesting counter points and arguments and articles, then yes they are taken on board and absorbed but also challenged as you do vice-versa.

The Brendan O'Neill article I find problematic though because it's written as if it's addressing the Irish when it's written in a British publication for a British audience.

It promotes the myth that the EU just forced the Irish to keep voting until they voted the right way and fails to mention how popular the EU currently is in Ireland. And his final paragraph just read likes projection; the blame he places on the EU for causing the current issues I would lay purely at Britain's door. We were warned that these issues would arise and Northern Ireland voted to remain; a lot of Brexiteers either were ignorant of these issues or happy to ignore them. To blame Ireland or the EU for them now strikes me as particularly disingenuous.

In the case of this farce I am proud if I have played some small part in it being this much of a clusterfuck.

There is no possibility of your ever being able to help me, other than by ticking the box ‘I was one of the cretins who voted Leave, but now realise what a dumb oik I was’ when the second referendum is held.

    But thanks for asking :)
