He gets his tactics wrong so often, it's laughable. He knew how important this game was to the fans, they've now beaten us at home yet again.

He must have one of the worst SAFC manager's records for derbies already and when we play the mags at the landfill, how many are confident of even a draw?

More worrying is his overall record since coming here, he's spunked millions away and yet we find the team to be no better than before.

The happy clappers always want him to have more games to turn it around, but it's becoming obvious that no matter how many chances he gets, he'll never succeed.

    Bruce in..............

See it's easy to state your opinions, but i don't try and ram it in the face of everyone.

Especially as he aint going anywhere yet..

This is not to say im totally happy with the situation mind.

commachio,I agree that two games is not enough to judge, but,if we lose our next two games,it must be bye-bye brucie!!!Having said that,I do not expect us to lose these two games, and hope that we win them both and get some confidence growing in our club.

Not two easy games, but with the squad we have, two games i expect us to win.

So if we do lose them, well maybe it's time to have a re-think...

But i'm confident it won't come to that.

It's only 2 games ffs,yes we got beat off the mags,so what we still have to play them away by then we will be up and running.
Yes bruce is tactically inept at times, yes he is a geordie,it's not his fault blame his parents.
Get a life you who want him out,who would you get in,o'neil, curbishley, moyes etc,you will still whinge at those managers if they lost there first games after taking over, and so the process starts again, sack the manager it's the managers fault, well no it's not most of the time it's the players.
Got that off my chest, now lets move on two away games lets see how it pans out.

The selection was doing well until there goal,he should have changed it around earliar in the second half, thats his biggest cockup leaving substitutions far too late.

Once the players cross the white line onto the pitch it is their responsibility to win the game not the manager.

Cudnt agree more mate. Ive read hundreds of posts on here since the defeat and managed to refrain from posting due to my judgement being clouded by anger/dissapointment/piss taking off my mag mates etc etc

Im always a bigger picture kinda supporter when it comes to knee jerk reactions being branded about by others so i'll try and put my case forward factually.

    - 2games is waaaay to early to sack any manager no matter what the circumstances
    - Bruce has improved us year on year and whose to say he wont again this year given time
    - compare the team/squad we are able to put out now and id challenge anyone to say that its not a vast improvement on when he arrived
    - we've had a massive turnaround of players (due to keanos championship manager style wheeling and dealing) which take time to bed in and sync

However and this is a big however contrary to what many may assume im not a huge Bruce fan, i personally think he is an average/good premier league who has his limitations undoubtedly. When he first came i stated he will be able to improve us to a point and then we will plateau (if thst the right spelling). However i was willing to give him time to prove me wrong and i just feel that time is not yet up.

we dominated the 1st half, and the second half was pretty even.

Would of won it if any of the players could have put the ball away in the 1st half. Bruce got the tactics right, but the strikers didnt do their job (scoring goals). Cant blame bruce for this one.

Gyan looked rusty in the 1st half, but his shooting improved in the second (but still not good enough).
