The gap between 1st and 2nd is bigger than 2nd and 5th. We are 6 points behind United. If we beat United the next time we play the gap is only 3pts.

I certainly don't expect to get 2nd (or even 3rd) but it remains a realistic target.

Not battling for 3rd... Still think 2nd is a possible, if unlikely, scalp.

No Pogba means it'll be a game of hoofball. They'll just bypass the entire midfield and plant it onto Fellaini's head.

No chance Mourinho will do anything but defend & counter against Man City. Whether it will be through choice or not is another matter.

I reckon they'll get the win; Man Utd have an annoying habit of stopping record breaking runs!

Wonder if the Spuds will treat the FA Cup seriously due to their so called title challenge going down the toilet, their manager and fans seem to think the domestic cups are below them as a club since their CL qualifications over the last few years.
Since their win over Real they assume they're going to win big ears, but their only realistic target can be top4, it's not going to be as easy as their fans assume, but that's the beauty of seeing them fail.

    Nope. They won't.

Thry will dump it in favour of last 16 of cl on grounds that is higher exposure.

Imo the top 3 are decided already.

The rest of us are fighting over 4th.

I thought spurs were going to be over the hill and hone but they have systematically knackered alli and kane and imo are not even at the lowest point yet.

Arsenal do well but are soft. I hope January sees news on Sanchez and Ozil leaving and thry implode

If Spurs reach the FA Cup final and Man U don't the final should be at OT, can't have a finalist playing on their home soil.:emoticon-0105-wink:

No. I think it's how you'll play without Pogba. Defend like hell and play long.

Pogba will be a massive miss and Matic is carrying an injury. To top it off Fellaini looks as though he will still be missing too :(

He's been huge this year for you and what I believe that you bought last year now that he has Matic alongside him. Didn't realise Matic is injured too....and to hear that you'll actually miss Fellaini shows just how far you've come under Mourinho <whistle>

You'll lump it up to Lucky to chase or flick on. :emoticon-0113-sleep

Mourinho may have stumbled on a system to beat City. With pogba out he'll have every excuse to use lukaku as a spearhead and willing runner to scare the defenders. He obviously won't score but he could assist as he has done lately. It may come down to whose defence can cope better with the opposite attack. Can otamendi and Kompany do better than smalling and lindelof?

    Fascinating match in prospect.
