    Better than him.

Personally I think van der Sar pushes him closest.

De Gea could do with a couple more league titles to compete with those two but as a goal keeper he is the best of the lot.

Mark Bosnich has gave the best ever goalkeeping performance that I've seen at Sunderland. It was a cup game against Villa, when we were in the 2nd divison, at Roker Park. We absolutely smashed them all game, and somehow got beat 4-1. He was unbelievable that night.

Yeah it was Le Tiss at old Trafford.

Just didn't see where Chief mentioned him.

Doesn't the commentator say something like the softest goal of Le Tissier's career?

Also that match is well remembered by our lot by Pahars nutmeg on Stam.

It was a ****ing joke for **** sake!

Of the four keepers I listed, two were useless fat ****s, one was unspeakably hopeless and the other was decent but a bald french dick.

Disagree here. The Great Dane was unstoppable against far better strikers. Henry, Berkamp etc would have had a sackful v Utd Saturday. Strikers now (bar the odd one or two) aren't as good as the strikers of the past.

    Barthez. F*** me.
Sat behind his goal and watched him - it's not good for your blood pressure.

Better command of his players, better shot stopper, better at distributing the ball and just a great keeper.

Rightly down as one of the greats. De Gea hasn't even reached that status yet (except in the UK, but he's still young for a keeper so could get there).

Also he hasn't had the international exposure as he's only been number 1 the past what 3/4 years which Spain have been abject in.

The great dane won more team trophies and more individual trophies including player of the season. De Gea hasn't even managed that yet.

Why are we arguing about which United keeper is better :p
