Sick to death of hearing about these talented players, if they where that talented they wouldn't keep conceding late goals. It's like a new manager is going to suddenly turn these players into top class players and magic up a couple of full backs and wingers from somewhere. Did Slutsky do well? No he didn't and I disagree with a lot of his decision. But he never had a chance to start with. Just because we keep having a go a the Allams doesn't mean we think Slutsky did well. I just look at the cause of Slutskys problems. The cause of them is the huge inbalance in the squad and the lack of investment for three transfer windows in a row, is that Slutskys fault or Ehabs fault? Look at the cause of the problems and you see why people defend the Slut and have a go at Ehab.
Kevin Nolan. (If it didn't work out he can probably be relied on to knock out Ehab.) Or, José Ángel Ziganda.
Ehab showed once again how useless he is by waiting too long to get rid of Slutsky. It should have been done weeks ago. This season has shown that a group of players playing as a team will get results. Bristol City and Preston North End have shown that is true at the KCOM. All three of these teams are average at best and came away with all 3 points. We are a group of individuals that doesn't play as a team. It was the case at the beginning of the season and is exactly the same now. That is down to the manager not the owners. The new manager has to turn these players into a football team that plays for each other whilst utilising the skills we have. If he can do that we'll start moving up the table. Secondly we has to rebuild our team with what's left of the parachute payments. I think Nigel Adkins, if he has been appointed, can do that, whether he has the support of the Allams to do that is another matter.
It like when a bird is described as having "a lovely personality", this usually means she's a bit of a munter. BTW I really do happen to have a lovely personality...everyone says so.
I really do wish that anyone posting link to the HDM would just copy and paste the full story so I don't have to zap my iPad by having to visit their advert ridden ****e site.
Organization, leadership and every single player taking responsibility in thier role would be good start. Do that and most fans would accept what results came of it,or at least should do.
Yes and I'd like to see them spend the parachute payments andreally have a go. But these teams you mention don't have the luxury of parachute payments and still are doing better than us. Whether we like it or not we're going to have to cut our cloth accordingly. I think Ehab was taken in by slutsky having access to the Chelsea top reserves. And we'd do it on the cheap. He'd have been better off buying proven steady championship defenders if all he wants to do is consolidate in the championship.
I don’t think Ehab was taken in by Slutsky at all. More likely the other way round. By the end of January we will know for certain what’s going to happen. I hope that whoever comes in will get an assurance that they will have money to spend. If not you would have to be pretty desperate to risk dealing with this shower of ****.
All Enob and Pappa want to do is operate at the minimum cost possible and extract the maximum funds from the club, i.e. saleable assets and parachute payments. They must have been well pissed when Abel did his achilles. Their potential mistake is not factoring in the possibility of relegation which would make us less saleable at the end of next season, as let's face it it aint going to happen before then.
He would take the job if it was offered to him. That's a man who lives by the mantra that it's better to regret something you have done, then something you haven't done.
