I had a very good lunch yesterday and one of our group is a Scot. Over the course of several hours it emerged that when he lived up there he had been to many schools due to his father being moved from one town to another. His father was a tax inspector and was kept moving so that some of the clients didn't find out where he lived. Anyway my friend informed me that he always enjoys telling people that he was educated by the IRA.

Amongst the schools in his list was the Inverness Royal Academy and he wondered if it was still there. No doubt someone will know. ;)

EEkkk, that sounds like a friends dad. He works in london on friday/saturday for the overtime but then the other day his car engine blew up on him. He thinks it will be £1000 to get it all fixed. He works his bottom off for the family and then things always go wrong for him.

Sorry to see that Norway. I am phoneless again until I buy yet another one. While searching for some good buys on the internet, I find one lady who has bought 14 phones, always by the same manufacturer. Does she get lightning strikes more often than me, or does she buy them as fashion items I wonder?

Well when i had my old job i was in the village where i live but it took an hour to get to/from uni. I think it will be better to have a job in Cambridge near uni so as to save travel.

True enough , when you get a job you dont want to lose it due to bad timekeeping!
