Shows how far ahead City are that a loss at Old Trafford would be a surprise at all. I expect Mourinho to drill his team hard for sustained pressure from the likes of De Bryun Aguero and Silva. I am really impressed with their front line. I genuinely think that at the moment they are a match for anyone in Europe including PSG and Barcelona. Their defending is not on a par but then if it was then they would be favourites for the CL!

David De Gea is by far the best keeper in terms of shot saving and saving his team.

I'm not sure he's as good for City as Ederson is in terms of their style. Whilst i think DDG is good with his feet, he's not outstanding and i'm also not sure about how good his decision making is when he has to run out of goal and basically be a sweeper keeper. That's not taking away that he's the best keeper in the league, but Ederson has shown he's great at passing the ball out (so city can out possess teams) and he's got great decision making skills on when to come out to clear the ball.

He's also been pretty handy in goal too.

I don't fail to grasp that at all.

I really don't care if astro, or anyone else for that matter, wums morning, noon and night and goes missing after their team lose. Like I said, so what. I'm a grown up, worrying about that sort of stuff is completely childish. Apart from anything else, if you want it just to be about astro - and you certainly do as you're obsessed with him - he goes missing a lot after we win as well <ok>

I have the philosophy that says if I can be arsed posting after a defeat I will, based mostly on any controversies that may have arisen or whether im still in the pub, i could however not post because I'm watching a movie, painting the living room, tidying the garden, looking after an elderly relative, stuck in traffic, eating my dinner, playing hide and seek with my grandkids, out with the Mrs, talking to my Evertonian neighbour, having a barbeque, on holiday, or, have no internet connection.

Basically this site is not a barometer of any poster as a person and doesn't accurately portray a poster's true meaning or feeling.

Well said. I remember some posters getting wound up with the negative/positive rep, thing as well. Really, who cares.

I use this site to chat about Liverpool games, players, managers and anything else LFC related. I enjoy the off topic stuff as well. I avoid posters who I don't 'get on with' on here and I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in who posts where, when and how often. Don't know why anyone would care about that. Maybe justovertheline can tell us why it bothers him and why he needs to comment on it so much.

to be fair, when astro talks so much crap about their club then i can see why they would be forced to speak some facts out. It's like listening to the daily mail, maybe it should just get ignored. Imagine if people were chatting crap all day about liverpool, i think most people would ignore it (i pay astro no heed) but i'm sure there will be liverpool fans jumping all over it.

Hell Diego gets enough stick and he's not out and out wumming like astro!

<laugh> The heck he isn't. I bet he even confuses himself most of the time with the stuff he comes out with.
Everyone knows astro's modus operandi. The vast majority couldn't care less ............
It's a football forum, astro talks football. He's 100% biased - something he will readily admit to - he makes outrageous claims and statements ... so what. He's allowed to post on here any way he chooses. Nobody is forced to read his comments and nobody is forced to respond

    True.

I can (I think) see the points made by the non-LFC fans here. Astro gives them so much stick when they lose and when LFC lose or draw they want to get their own back. But they feel they cannot if he is not around after a setback.

The thing is that after a defeat we are here moaning and whinging, criticising left right and centre. The GK, the CB or the midfielder who was dreadful etc. But this is not astro: he does not criticise our team, players, or manager. I may be wrong but I have never seen a direct criticism of one of our players or our manager.

So he is either very loyal to the club and does not want to be openly critical or he is actually blind to our weaknesses <whistle>.

Agreed. like i said i just ignore his posts. I've not said astro should be censored either.

Just saying it's natural for some to defend their club when he posts some of the stuff he posts.

If I were one of them I'd just stay clear of this board, then there's nothing to get wound up by or feel the need to defend.

One of these 'some' you mention has made in excess of 199 posts just about astro [the search facility only goes to 199 so there's probably at least double that figure]. No mention of football or response to what astro's said, just abuse at astro - go figure ....

yeah, they should just stay clear then astro will get bored.

When i posted that i was more thinking of tobes vs astro than the others really
