He gets a chance every day in training. If he cant impress enough playing 5 a side then NO, he doesnt deserve a chance

I sometimes look at our starting 11 and feel better players are on the bench, this time I felt the best 11 were starting and so yes, the bench lacked quality but that is surely beyond the control of Thomas? I’ve been guilty in the past so I’m not excluding myself but WE as Leeds fans always get over excited about who isn’t playing. This moment in time it is Klich and Cibicki, previous seasons Sloth and remember how we all got excited about Kebe then after a couple of games thought WTF? I still don’t know if Thomas is the right man for the job, I don’t know if Orta is good at spotting players or not, there are arguments for both depending on what Leeds game you were watching. I would have dumped Hernandez two months back and never played him again, I wondered how Alioski had kept his place in the team but both have come good, was this Thomas having faith and a quiet word with them or was the lack of form Thomas asking them to do something they were uncomfortable with? My personal opinion was multiple reasons but one of those was the lack of movement from Lasogga and I have to say Thomas is getting the best out of Hernandez because I thought last season he was a one good game in 5 Man. Every signing is not going to be perfect but if we get an Alioski, Pontus and Saiz each window it is major progress. I’m going to wait until the January transfer window is over before deciding if we are good enough or not. Thomas has had a good 6 months then to look at all the players, if the board keep faith in him then surely they ALL have their heads together looking at what positions need strengthening.
Agree with most of that but remember, to get Saiz and Alioski, we had to sign sixteen players and lost some good ones at the same time. At this rate, Orta will have to sign most of Europe in the next two seasons just to come up with a half dozen good ones
I think Anita was a no lose gamble, we got him on a free and he might be better suited in midfield. Sacko was a mystery to me, not sure why we went ahead with that one. Ekuban I believe was going to be number two to Wood or offer us the chance to play two up front? I’m pleased with his signature. Taylor and Wood were going no matter what, I never rated Bridcutt, Doukara or Murphy so I’m happy they were sold on. I get your point though
The big joke for me Eire is that Orta spent weeks trying to prise Klich away from 4 top Dutch & German clubs. He won, we signed him so is he shyte or is Tommy wrong? Klich will now leave but at least we will get a good price for him. He will star for PSG or Ajax and make someone look stupid. The best thing the club can do re Klich is come out and say whats happened. Tommy doesnt fancy him, big fall out, Klich is selfish and Billy no mates, he isnt as good as we thought...... but somebody needs to say what the story is for a player of his quality. Cibicki, Grot etc is self explanatory
The bench is too thin and TC did make the wrong sub. Roofe I'm afraid is just not good enough for what we need to get promoted. In my opinion we should trade him on and get a couple of million back, he's not useless just not dynamic enough to play the role TC asks him to play out wide or quick enough to play as a central striker. So TC made the wrong sub but his choices for left midfield/wing are severely limited which highlights yet another area of the squad where we are light. I'm happy to stick with Felix in goal as he seems more than capable to me. That leaves a centre half, left back, left midfield and striker who need to be signed before we can realistically push for promotion. If we get 3 of those in January then we would have a fighting chance of the play offs.

Would settle for one high-quality signing to be honest. There must be literally hundreds of players out there who are superior to what we've got so you would think it would be fairly straightforward given we now have so many people looking !
Well thats the spin that was put on him signing. Like all transfers, we of course have no idea if anyone was really after him. Im of the opinion that Sackos original loan agreement had a must buy clause at end of season. Its the only plausible explanation why there was, I think, 2m wasted on him
