The "IGNORE roll-call" thread

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Hoddle is a god, Dec 3, 2017.

  1. Keep that **** out of here!

I do not engage in discussions about politics, for the obvious reason that no good can ever come of it on a footy forum.

    Same with religion.

I only ever want to discuss sensible stuff, like the mighty Spurs juggernaut, the delusion of Mousers, Pinkie's tiny knob, and Skiddy's well-endowed wife.

So, please, let's not engage in any bollocks on this thread, yeah?

I tried to think of an appropriate response and all I could come up with is "go **** yourself"

  3. See.

Discussions on politics always lead to dickheads making those kinds of comments.

There is no need for it, gutsy.

You seem angry again Hoddle, was the Harvester shut when you went for Sunday lunch?
You think of yourself as a bit of a guitarist, just returned from seeing a guy called Geoff Whitehorn play. Wow, is all I can say.

HiaG - now i'm guessing you don't work, but it is a Sunday, even so, at some point we all need to take a break to get up to drink, eat and have a piss, ain't it about time you went for a crap?

  10. No Harvester tonight, gutsy.

As for guitar, I can play, trust me.

That isn't to say that I do not appreciate other guitarists' work. How do you think I continue to learn and grow?

Geoff Whitehorn was in Procol Harem, wasn't he? I'm not overly familiar with his work, which means he's probably more jazz or folk. I'm willing to bet, however, that he's pretty decent.

    I can’t say I’d agree.

Most of the regular posters on the thread are very willing to debate the issues in a reasonable manner. I’ve had several discussions with Bod, who voted leave, for instance. I don’t agree with his view, nor he with mine, but we can still debate without resorting to slagging each other off.

Unfortunately, somebody always comes along and ruins any normal debate by starting a slanging match. And I’d agree that Saxton has absolutely zero of any merit to contribute, and is probably the major disrupter of the thread with his virtually constant spamming.

Slagging people off who voted to leave is common place by remoaners as I call them because of that fact. You still see it very prevalent on all social media which is sad really. I'm in yours and Bods camp whatever one has voted for decent debate is a must, decending to the depths of slagging people off is reprehensible.
