  2. See, I never discuss this forum with Mrs HIAG, even when I'm banging her brains out.

I'd feel too embarrassed about mentioning this place. Where would I even start!

How the **** would I explain the likes of Pinkie, Bambi, and Skids?

She'd think I was visiting gay porn sites ffs!

To be fair mate. Anybody who knows you would be embarrassed for you, if they saw how you've repeatedly humiliated yourself over the years on here.

  4. Stop being so rattled, Akky ffs! It's only a chat room, mate. It isn't "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!"

    I cannot see Skiddy's posts.

Is the uber Bell still replying to what I write?
    <doh>

Oh, dear! How very, very sad!

I succumb and put Saxton on ignore. I also put Watford on ignore as although he generally seems a decent poster, constantly attacking Custard, on the politics thread, became tedious.
I should take Watford off of ignore as I decided to pretty much give the politics thread a miss.

I ended up swerving the politics thread because it just became a bitch fest. Shame really because I started the first EU one up (fess up time) and was genuinely interested in having a chat about politics and brexit. But I cant be arsed to plough through the guff on there now.

  12. I tell only a select number of people about this place, mate.

My Chelsea-supporting mate, and my eldest son are the only two, in fact.

Tell a lie! I did tell my developer business partner. But that was only so that he and I could take the piss out of Stan's dreadful lack of knowledge about residential land development. I really don't want to drag all of that up.

My Chelsea mate and my son often laugh at the gullibility of the usual suspects, especially Pinkie. They know me in real life, see, so they are acutely aware of my cutting deadpan humour, and they cannot believe that someone would be so stupid as to take anything I write on here with anything other than a massive dose of salt.

That said, this place isn't anything other than a passing interest in our daily lives in the real World.

I've said it before, but it really is just ****s and giggles for me, on this board.

It was always a subject that was likely to divide opinions, I just didn't realise just how much. Unfortunately, it's really difficult to have any type of debate without having a label applied. I voted to remain as i didn't think the economy was strong enough to cope, although I have always considered myself a eurosceptic. Unfortunately this means that I don't sit firmly in either camp, and you have to be either "in or out". In the end it was easier to bail out than contribute.

When I first wrote that EU thread it was just before the referendum and I thought there might be some interesting debate on here, because the media was simply full of the guff from Boris, Gove and Farage and the £350m for the NHS bus. The complete lack of debate in the mainstream media was truly alarming and the details of just how convoluted our painful and expensive brexit will be are only just now beginning to be realised. But I suppose a thread about politics on not606 was always likely to go pear shaped <laugh>
