I think England need to bat all day tomorrow to stay in this test, and effectively stay in the Ashes. They do not want to be chasing a deficit in the second innings. Massive 3rd day tomorrow, so soon in the series.

tbh... as this is day and night test... I think I would bowl again if I were them... I think they might skittle half of us under lights. the 20 odd runs needed for follow on are absolutely crucial
In reply to your first quote , Yes Woakes as well . If I was Smith , I would enforce the follow on , Declaring in the first innings of an Ashes test match and then enforcing the follow on , must surely be the ultimate humiliation for the opposition ? Oh , do you get lonely on here !
