Kind of sad to Slutsky go he was dealt a **** and from the 2 ****s. I hoped that a last minute goal in our favour would help change the mentality of the players but deep down I know he had to go.
He was the caretaker for a short while after leaving York City and taking over at some Swedish club that he's managed to get into Europe on a shoestring. Could be looking for a stepping stone into English football, like Silva did.
Summer time ish Point is that it seems to be a universal belief that the Allams are truculent, awkward and tight with the cash. Therefore, that must **** with his job severely.
I saw a mini documentary about that ****. He seems alright. No idea about his managerial ability but he's done a decent job out there by any measure.
It is hard to judge Graham Potter but the job he has done over there is amazing. I love Phil Brown and the four years we had, but I wouldn't want that ruined by him doing a bad job this time round. He deserves his place in our history. I would take Karanka, I just think we need someone with a positive attitude as the atmosphere around this club is toxic.
Adkins has verbally agreed to come and will be in charge for Sat, that's why the trigger was pulled tonight.....so I'm told by someone in the game. Won't belive it until officially announced though
What a complete and utter shambles the club is. Slutski has made some strange decisions but he was an honorable man and deserved so much better. I wish those pair of contemptable ****s would **** off because it's starting to make me feel ashamed and embarrassed to be a City fan.
He'd manage to **** that up somehow. probably mess up the fax machine, not sign with permanent crayon.....
As I am not a fan of cycling or hull fair I am not sad to see him go , despite the **** hand still didn't do enough and his team kept making the same mistakes -not expecting any miracle worker to shoot us into the play offs, just somebody who can change the mentality to see games out, bring a bit of defensive organisation and get us into mid table and away from having to look over our shoulders to see what Burton are doing
I personally don't think RECRUITING two players who scored against us Dicko and Irvine and taking a not wanted left back (and we as sure as **** dont want him) Kingsley is indicative of someone who is HEAD OF RECRUITMENT. Dont be mistaken, part this whole sorry affair is him, but ultimately who employed the useless t**t
Does it? I suppose I agree but if you read the posts on here it's confusing. I've read posts pointing out Slutsky's credentials and quality, so didn't both them and him not understand what they were doing? I think the Allams were as much taken in by him as quite a few on here.
Irvine will turn out to be a decent buy I think, as will Kingsley - given time/ new manager. Not sure about Dicko - thought his record looked unconvincing prior to us signing him.
