I’d argue most of the players in that league are of a better standard, but the opposition he played against were tough. He was popular there and they wanted to keep him.
He made 14 league starts 8 sub appearances and 5 others (assume cups) is that proving yourself at a better level? Genuine question? A team that finished 11th in the Bundesliga is probably equivalent to a Championship team at a guess.
Other than the obvious sides in the Bundesliga - Frankfurt that finished 11th I'd guess are no better than a decent Championship side. You could see Hector playing the Huddlestone role in front of the 2 centre backs - but not as a centre half. He's bloody awful and makes me nervous and is well capable of 2-3 big mistakes a game.
Just as an example. I just watched Man U defend for their life with eleven men behind the ball a lot. For their goal henriksen was still in the same position he is supposed to be, before al has a meltdown I'm not blaming him, five yards outside of our box facing our goal. He should have been on the 18 yard line facing their goal. He may have been able to block thenball coming back etc etc. He was doing what he was told.
So you think he's a good centre half based on his performances for us so far? I'm not unduly concerned with what he may or may not have done previously as at present that's history. He's looked crap in every game I have seen him play in. It's got nothing to do with belief, the goals against column speaks volumes.
Been confirmed by the club that Slutsky has left by mutual consent. The Club can confirm that it has parted company with Head Coach Leonid Slutsky by mutual consent following discussions today. Head of Club Strategy Oleg Yarovinsky has also left his role at the KCOM Stadium. Tigers Vice-Chairman Ehab Allam said: “Leonid has worked tirelessly in his role and has acted with complete honour and been a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately results have not improved as both parties would have hoped and therefore it was agreed for the relationship to come to an end. “I would like to thank Leonid and Oleg for their efforts here and sincerely wish them well for the future.” On his departure Slutsky said: "I would like to really thank everyone associated with Hull City from the players and staff to the owner and especially the fans. “I am very proud to have been through this experience, it was challenging but a very exciting time for me. "Hull City will always be a part of my heart and I wish the team all the very best for the future.” The process to recruit a new Head Coach is underway.
But you've just compared Frankfurt with most championship sides. That's simply not true or anywhere close to being true. It's like saying Southampton are no better than a Championship side either. He's quite clearly not crap, neither is Aina, they aren't being coached/managed in the right way and that's becoming painfully obvious.
[QUOTE="Driff_Tiger, post: 11194746, member: 1005297" Someone new might get a bit more out of them temporarily, but it's major surgery needed in January. [/QUOTE] A little bit of waffle there Driff old chap but, that one line ****in' nails it! I fear that unless it's 'major surgery' on the cheap, it's not happening.

They're taking money owed and leaving us with a mid table championship side. Which is where we should be with this side. There won't be any big signings just some consolidation with a few new players.
I hate to say this but if daft lad had swallowed his pride and not been upset that Brucie was more popular then him we would have probably been still enjoying fruitful times.
Hector I bet was simply bought by Chelsea to fulfil some sort of player Quota. Given the PL is one of the wealthiest leagues in world football and there's many Championship clubs with parachute funds and serious backing versus the Bundesliga, I doubt very much whether a lower league Bundesliga side like Frankfurt are actually any better than a top end Championship side, I stand by that. Even Slutsky has said the Championship is probably the 5th best league in Europe.
Oleg Yarovinsky has also gone. He "officially" lasted 42 days as #hcafc's head of club strategy. According to Phil
