Christmas pressies, drinks, nights out, staff parties, jumpers...in fact, anything to do with the celebration of the birth of baby Jesus, post it here.

I'm currently enjoying a Tia Maria and Baileys pre-Christmas drink, with ice cubes, bottoms up sports <chin chin>

 

I’m about to wrap my pressies. All have been bought now thank god.

 

I’ll dump them under the tree, throw a log on the fire then open up some chocolate.

 

That's what I call being organised Chippy. I do my shopping on December 24th <got no choice to get arse into gear by then>

 

Frees up more time for cans mate.

Pressies bought and wrapped, tree up, outside lights up, turkey, chipolatas, bacon, stuffing in the freezer, Christmas cake iced, pudding in the cupboard, wine and beer in the garage, cards done and international ones posted, final home shopping delivery booked for 23rd December from Asda, a few bits left to sort but can relax for the next few weeks!!!

 

Some pressies bought, some stuff sorted - travelling back up on 21st for a week

Favourite Christmas song = Greg Lake, I Believe in Father Christmas....simply magical.

 

We've just moved into a cottage after six or seven months in a motorhome. So, we've got the first load of boxes in, some of the appliances plumbed up (the cable for the cooker arrives tomorrow -- thank goodness for Amazon) along with the rest of the boxen up from North Wales and, hopefully, a ton of firewood for the fire.

The lady wife is putting up the tree now whilst I am doing the other stuff. But this Christmas is going to be ours alone on this estate (as in estate of land and nothing to do with Barratt or the council) but we may drag in some of the locals in for a few drinks when they pass by.

We're just looking forward to a nice Christmas here and with a good oven to do the cooking on though I have done a Christmas dinner in the motorhome a couple of years ago which was good.

Right, now that I have mentioned that. Time to get on with my work for a few hours.

 

Had me works do last night. Started drinking when the we kicked off against Chelsea. As you can guess I made an arse of myself running round telling everyone I loved them, wouldn't mind but we were sharing the venue with 5 other companies I'd never met before

Typical - 1st home game I get to see live this season and it's bloody Man City!!
