He wouldn’t have produced for us. Simple as that. Players often need a change of scene as Freeman has been given with us when going nowhere at Bristol.
He’s good in the Championship. If he gets them promoted I look forward to seeing him back there the season after next.
When you've lost all 14 matches this season and you're 2-1 down in injury time against AC Milan there's only one answer...
Gattuso’s first match in charge of Milan, who are having another crap year. He’ll probably kill a few of his players in the after match debrief.
I remember when he and Derry first came to us and posters on here referred to him as 'over the Hill'. I said at the time to give him a chance...the rest is history.
I've got to say, over recent years he is my favourite player - as good as Adel and Charlie were, no one gave more for the cause than Clint - I would love to see him back in a coaching role. Watched him a couple of times last season at Rangers and he stood out a mile with his positional sense and the timing of his tackles, and a few well taken goals too - who was the last defender to score for us this season? Ned before he was injured?
This one really is from the realms of 'You couldn't make it up', particularly as the Met Police has hardly any Police in their team...
Dare i say it...... In footballing terms for me he is approaching living legend status. A class act and a class guy...... As has been stated before it would be great to see both him and Derry back at the R's someday in coaching positions
