Mate, can you tell us all how your fact we were 4 points off the bottom 3 is any different to me stating it is 10 points now and 5 off Spurs, the same amount that we’ve wiped off the gap in the last 5 days?

I never said you'd be relegated this season. Yes, it will be a struggle for you, but you will survive this season fairly comfortably.

You have to stop this habit of yours of always looking at the pearls of wisdom I drop in the short term, and learn to view what I impart in the longer term.

You have to look at the bigger picture. That's what I always do.

That's why, for example, I created the DOLL.

It's a league, not a sprint!

I've got people screaming at me - "Update the DOLL, HIAGster! Update the DOLL!"

They want me to do that because they know that, in the short term, it presents a picture that suits their wum agenda and gives them a cheap laugh. But I'm looking at the longer term picture. Updating the DOLL has got to mean something. I won't do it merely to give the wumsters an easy wum. That isn't what the DOLL was created for, Johnny.

 

All I’m getting is ‘I hope Leicester some day get relegated so I’ll say it’s about the long term’.
I’d say if some day we go down again , as it’s a marathon not a sprint, we’d have to wait and see if we get promoted straight back up before you WUM as Wumming would be so short term in that scenario. Wouldn’t you agree?

Edit - you were happy enough short term to update the DOLL before Spurs jumped off a cliff. Some may even say spiralled

It's not about being happy or unhappy, Johnny.

Many professional pundits predicted that Spurs would have an indifferent season this and next, due to the disruption caused by changing grounds and getting used to our new stadium. You can hardly call it a spiral.

If come the end of three seasons from now, we are still struggling to keep up with the top 4 sides, yeah, I'd probably agree with you that there is a longer term problem; but it's far too soon to make that kind of argument with any degree of sincerity.

 

Dress it up how you like Bell, It's a spiral which I successfully called over a year ago.
