    Thanks for the essay.
You’ve had a mare here, mate. V obvious that I was mocking your Lesta song and even more obvious you now feel silly, and are being defensive.

Anyway, I know you have decent football history and you are a proper supporter unlike other Spurs JCLs on here, so have a good Sunday.

It does look a bit like the spurs bubble has burst.

Shame. I way enjoying them mixing it up with the two fake teams and United.

Back to scrapping with arsenal and us it seems.

I keep saying it but they picked a terrible time to move stadium. Right on the cusp of something good and they do that.

  12. Nah, I think all of that will have been factored into the equation.

The stadium represents our moving forward into a sustainable future. Current results are merely that - current results.

We are going to get wummed by the same old idiots, about Alli and Eriksen ****ing off to [insert team that you think will be the biggest wind up], but the fact of the matter is that with a new stadium, a new superb academy, Kane, and Poch, we will be able to achieve whatever we want to.

The future looks bright. The future is Spurs.

Moving stadium always effects results - see Arsenal.

Right when Spurs are competing for the title they introduce their own obstacles.

Shot themselves in the foot good and proper.

    Poor planning.

  18. Meh.

I think the early improvements that Poch has brought were unexpected. I don't think the club planned to be in the positions we found ourselves in, over the last two seasons. Let's face it, both those seasons were due to the main money clubs somehow conspiring to be utter ****e!

We found ourselves in a false position.

I know that it's the done thing to label us Spurs fans as being "deluded," but that actually could not be further from the truth. We are grounded; we know that we have ridden our luck. Based on money and gate receipts, Spurs can expect to finish no higher than 5th each season; anything above that is a welcome and unexpected bonus.

If we can finish 5th this year and next, with the distractions posed by the move to the new stadium, we will have done exceedingly well.

Beyond that, I am expecting us to compete.

    <laugh> Grounded

You've gone from saying that you'll be City's closest challengers to aiming for 5th
