Its a blast from the past for the Chairboys when they entertain their old Isthmian League rivals the Tanners at Adams Park this is the first meeting between the clubs since the 1982/83 season when the Tanners were relegated while we won the league and while we went on to establish ourselves as a Football League club the Tanners remain in the Isthmian League.
We will be without Eze who has been refused permission to play in the cup but Gaz should field his strongest side available.
With over 1000 away following this could be the biggest crowd at AP so far this season and there should be a great atmosphere incidentally last weekend at the Tanners home game against Enfield the crowd was 397.
I will be arriving early for this one along with Slasher and will be in full voice cheering the lads on to a 3rd round tie<cheers>

A banana skin if ever I saw one. Shame Eze isn't there to tease the defence. Let's hope we can settle this early and then not give away a goal to give them hope. 100% effort required here because this is their Wycombe v Spurs

Last night our local team Saint Lo had a home cup game against a team in a higher league with the prospect of a tie against one of the big teams (PSG <yikes>) in the next round if they won. My grandson was one of the ball boys for the match. Saint Lo were the better team and won on penalties (1-1aet). With us on top the goalie from the other team was telling my grandson to let the ball go off but he was kicking it straight back to the goalie almost before it had gone off. At one time he had to tackle one of their subs to get the ball back <laugh>. Our goalie made 2 penalty saves in the shoot out and we didn't miss one.

Just seen Leatherhead have gone 1-0 up from the spot and then hit the bar. ****ing hell, doesn't sound good at all.

Was a bit disappointed with one of your players reaction to the sending off. Was a bit hard to see what happened with the foul or whatever it was but one of your players standing in the blokes face laughing and applauding the red was a tad unsporting. Sorry to be a bit negative.

Right result though and the last goal was a joy to watch. Beasty Boy falling majestically to the ground whilst heading the ball in was a classic. I still rate the bloke even at 35.

I didn't see that incident to be honest but I agree don't like players reactions like that whoever they play for

The only person in the ground who thought it was a penalty was the ref, stood behind the goal even the Leatherhead players could'nt believe it. At half-time Leatherhead deserved to be drawing, Midson was a complete wind up merchant it looked to me he was trying one of the Wycombe players sent off. Even Bloomfield gave him a talking too & wagged his finger at him & got himself booked, in the flurry of cards the ref missed Saunders push somebody. Gradually in the second half we got further on top & you could see us scoring & to me they ran out of steam

If a penalty was given for every slight tug of a shirt there would be an awful lot of them given the free kick that lead to it should have gone the other way as Midson had hold of Sido's arm and dragged him to the ground, Moore and Midson spent all of the first half winding up our players but Gaz must have given them a good talking to at HT as we didn't fall for it in the second half, when Freeman came on for Southwell we looked far more balanced and never looked in danger, roll on round three
