:emoticon-0103-cool: Norwich usually do quite well against us in this home fixture. Could be a few goals in this, maybe a 5-0 rout?

Cardiff are without Kenneth Zohore for the visit of Norwich, with the striker still nursing a persistent heel injury.

Omar Bogle is available for the Bluebirds after serving his three-match ban, but Jazz Richards, Kadeem Harris and Lee Camp remain on the sidelines.

Norwich trio Timm Klose (hip), Tom Trybull (back) and Cameron Jerome (foot) should all travel after injury.

Midfielder Alex Pritchard had a minor neck problem following his return from ankle surgery but should be available.

    Match facts

      • Cardiff have lost their last four league matches against Norwich, conceding 11 goals in those matches.
      • The Canaries have never won three consecutive away league matches at Cardiff in their entire league history.
      • Neil Warnock has lost 12 league matches against Norwich as a manager - he has only lost more against Watford (14) and Reading (16).
      • Cameron Jerome has been involved in six goals in his last six league matches against former club Cardiff (five goals, one assist), finding the net exactly once in each of his last four games.
      • Cardiff are yet to lose at home in the league this season (P9 W6 D3 L0) - they have won promotion in each of the last three seasons they have gone unbeaten in their first nine home league games (1992-93, 2000-01 and 2012-13).
      • Josh Murphy has scored more goals in all competitions than any other Norwich player this season (7) - he has scored in three of his last five matches against Cardiff in all competitions (three goals).

Terrible 1st half. Much improved with the half time subs.

Norwich played a lot of good football but we created most of the chances.

Can believe their manage ranting about the 1st penalty. The daft tw@t didnt notice we actually scored from that corner!!!!!!

The only disappointment was the crowd, we should be getting 20k+

I'm not sure if I was asleep the first half and dreaming, because I didn't think we played that badly in the first half. Some poor passing and some indecision perhaps. I also thought we were unfortunate to go in 1 down as Norwich didn't appear to have too much in front of goal. I remember thinking it would be an ideal game for Tomlin, given the hype, and NW obviously thought the same. :D
The second half was much better with Tomlin showing some cool moves and, for me, more of a goal threat.

In my defence, I don't see much quality football over here and haven't been to a Bluebirds game in 18 months, viewing on my laptop doesn't come close to being there, you guys probably saw things I couldn't. Can't wait to get over there in March and get a live game or two. :D

You must have been asleep and dreaming.<laugh>

It was a shocker of a 1st half display. That bad we would only have put 3 or 4 on the current Swansea side.<cheers>

All worth 3 points but that was as good a win as we'll get this year. Not because of any class football that other teams claim to play, but because of the way we won it. Powering back after going 1-0 down to win by 2 clear goals sets this current Warnock side a class above the rest.

I like the way that when someone (Ralls) has an off day, someone else (Damour) takes up the baton. Bloody good team performance in the second half after a shaky start with Tomlin providing another dimension after the break.

I will say that Manga out on his own at right back is going to cost us a goal or two at some point. I like the bloke but he needs Paterson around to get the best out of him. I suppose that's a problem Warnock is going to have to solve. Does he push on with Mendez in front of Manga or get more solid with Paterson out there? Or does he ditch Manga and play both Mendez and Paterson?

I think we'll see all 3 combinations as the season progresses. Against some of the less attacking sides I'd go for the last combination so we can get at them. Against the most attacking teams Patterson in from of Manga.

I'm sure Warnock will get lucky and pick the right combinations occasionally.

I said on another thread, we have a real squad this season and Warnock using it to the max. Injuries, suspensions, bad performances, there's always someone to step in / step up for the cause. People playing out of position and doing a job, and then some.

I keep waiting for the bubble to burst and I know many outside the club are hoping for it, but the longer it goes on, the less likely it looks.

The Ralls , Damour , Bryson trio wasnt working. Plus Joe Bennett was doing a man marking job and getting dragged in there.

Much better from the 2nd half onwards - personally thought Damour did ok 2nd - but nowhere near the standard of Ralls who is now an outstanding Championship midfielder.

However - time for someone else to take the pens.

I thought Ralls had one of his poorest games this season. Very little seemed to go right for him and Damour filled in the gaps second half.

That apart, I will say that Ralls would start every game for me if I was picking the side.

In hindsight that was a game crying out for Tomlin to start. Hoolahan their equivalent (sort of) had too much room in first half with Bryson & Damour too alike.

Thought one of them had to come off at half time for Tomlin and so again in hindsight maybe it was a good thing we went down at half time as I doubt NW would have made the half time subs at 0-0.

    Damour blossomed in 2nd half.

Ward had a really poor 1st half so again hoped NW would bring on Bogle at half time.

    And wasn’t he superb?

    Top manager we have NDAT.<applause>

Hope he enjoyed his birthday :emoticon-0166-cake:

As said, all going well. Squad looks up for it. Gunner not signing shows he knows his first team days are numbered.

Showed a bit of weakness there, Taff!!! Should have held out a bit and all would have become clear. No doubt someone else would ask sooner or later.... or in the cold light of day, it would have come to you!!!
