That's the word, Shabby. Sustained almost calculated shabbiness. Fish & Dolan and the name plaque. Shabby underhand out of their depth. The Sheffield Stealers. Shabby crooks. Lloyd. Shabby bitter little ****ing know it all, actually know nothing. But these two take it to another level, really plummet the depths on all counts. ALLAMS OUT!!!
Winning is about mentality. It's about shutting up shop, puttng yourself in the line, just being focussed and determined. Losing, or drawing by a goal is one thing, but FOR ****S SAKE this is too regular. Top down ****e.
did anyone see the Wednesday manager on Channel 5 going off on a major rant about the Dawson hands ball which wasn't a hands ball - what a nob
Meanwhile ( o/t ,) Scarborough Athletic 1 Atherton 0 World class save from Scarboroughs goalie near the end saw the seadogs take the 3 points Crowd just over 900 Glad city got the late equaliser and had a cheer when they did
I usually find your ability to link poor results to Meyler impressive. Not sure where you're going with it this time. If Meyler stayed on the bench that shows the problem was elsewhere.
There's not much he can do with what he's got available to him. That fault lies clearly with the owners and the head of recruitment. Under resourced in defence - clearly. No problems scoring goals, just keeping them out. No amount of training or coaching will eradicate the errors our defenders are making. The simple fact is they're just not up to the task of being a Championship defender. He's tried changing things around with the limited squad he has. It's not like the players are new to football. I see Larsson had another good game today.
I'm not overly bothered anymore. I have seen City when they were much worse than they are currently. Until we get rid of the clowns that own the club, there's little we can do. We'll continue to have comedy transfer windows and there's a strong chance we could be playing football in League One next season.
I thought we played ok - we didn't ship a shed load of goals and we fought back - a draw away from home isn't a bad result - no complaints from me on that performance from the players we have
The problem is once a team has played crappy for a while a slight decrease in crapiness will be hailed as them suddenly playing well. It still wasn't a good performance, horrible scrappy game really, and some terrible crosses and final passes. Their goalkeeper should have been tested more. The fact that Wednesday offered not much threat most of the game was down to how weak they are as much as anything.
Also that one point looks so unhappy cause previous results were so bad and the table looks rather depressing too. One is not enough, but three - three is definitely not enough to change that full picture.
Did I ever mention that Arnold Lane is just a stone's throw from where my sister lives in Long Riston?
I'm -------- but any point away from home is good but you have to make it up with 3pts at home, well done today lads but make sure you win your next home game good night I'm wrecked
