All Dawson's late goal has done is probably delayed Slutsky's departure and worst of all,give the chuckle brothers another week to convince some gullible out of work loser another chance to talk a good game but deliver f'kall unless of course we find another Silva,which is about as likely as today's massive opponents winning the World Cup. If he was having no say in transfers then he should have walked - by staying and picking up his wages he is accepting responsibility - if they had turned out to be world beaters and we were sat top he would be happy to accept responsibility for them then

THE SAD things is.... it was there for the taking this season. We expected to lose players of course, but just by some SENSIBLE investment, we would and could have been alongside Wolves. Marco Silvas parting shot to Escab and Papa of 'don't **** up in the close season' unfortunately fell on deaf ears such was the respect they had for him. I'm just watching Bristol City tear Middlesbrough a new one and yet, for 70 minutes last week we made Brizzle look like where we are now and thats been the case against so many we have played, including Wolves when they came here... SAD times to be a City supporter and see the fall from grace.
Some managers can motivate players,some cannot. Slutsky's head has obviously gone if you listen to his comments of late,today's smash and grab was exactly that and despite being an apparent nice guy,he is now fast becoming a liability even the chuckle brothers must be able to see.
If you’re at the point where you don’t care about the results, for whatever reason, surely a last minute equaliser against those grubby Sheff Wed ****s must still stimulate some joy – even if it’s just for spite.
Plus he came here without any backroom staff even, and apart from the Chelsea loans who didn't turn out well I'm not sure what links he had to help us get players. He's a fish out of water.
