Rafa has accepted defeat and is protecting Merino.

Regardless of this summer, Brighton and Huddersfields team would have cost a similar price to ours, ours probably more expensive.

You can't just put this one down as one we were gonna lose anyway, it's the way we're losing, and also being crap against Bournemouth and Watford is very worrying.

The defence is non existent without Laecelles, he can't come back soon enough.

We've said this time and time and time again. Yes, as I said before the match, Rafa will almost inevitably put an inexplicable choice in the starting line up.

Thinking about the goal difference at the end of season, perhaps?

I'd understand if Yedlin hadn't played such an active part in so many goals conceded!

Brighton and hudds had the enjoyment of a spirit built over seasons. We were relegated under Mclaren two years ago and was systematically gash for the 5 year previous.
You can't expect that just to disappear, along with the fact the players who didn't suffer relegation have been with us less than a year and a half. Again team chemistry doesn't tend to build that quick. Well not enough to make up for the defecit in quality

By the way I saw the top 6s last 20 results against those not in the top 6.
    Not lost a game.

Fullbacks??? Everything went down the middle of the pitch through Hazzard and Morata. Nothing went wide 'til Willian came on. Yedlin had more crosses defended today than Manquillo.

I'm going to donate one of my testicles to medical science as it's let me down once to often. No more 3-1 predictions from me....today.

That said I may have a bob or two on Reading to beat the unwashed 3-1.

My other 3 testicles deserve cheering up.

At least the players fight for the manager, they've just got very little ability. Perez and Diame in particular are atrocious footballers who offer/deliver less than nothing, yet Rafa will pick them again before Xmas no doubt.

Murphy has shown flashes but there's so little attacking impetus it's impossible to judge. Ritchie's a shadow of the man he was, but I guess promotion isn't right for him. Same for Gayle. Hell, we all know it's a Championship team trying its limited best in the top flight. Let's see if we catch a break next time out.

Go check how many crosses went in before Yedders and get back to me. You were watching right? Hazard was allover that's quite irrelevant

My electric bill has 4 tick marks on the back for the first half and zero in the second - but that's from the Chelsea left only.

Well check the right as well Goddamit! I must admit I was too nervous to be keeping track but all I remember was that ball consistently being hammered across our backline. It's the tactic of any team playing us
