Doing a Man U, Newcastle scored first then thrashed. I was surprised at the closeness of the Swansea result.
Based on this season, not very good - there's more than three clubs trying extra hard to be worse than them.
Apologies if my comment has come across as personal. Your posts come across as disingenuous at times. Sometimes it appears you are trying to rile fellow posters. Let's leave it there, as we are all anonymous guys on a footy forum and keep it light hearted. Peace out.
To put the record straight we are NOT trying to rile fellow supporters, why the hell would we? All I'm personally saying is that the euphoria was not realistic. Also we aren't at war, others seem to be with us and I don't know why. let's please keep to the football, mistakes in predictions and all.
Ok, no worries. We're all here to share our opinions. For me, this is the best Spurs side in my lifetime (fan since early 90s) and believe this is good as it gets with the resources at our disposal (at the moment). One of the best teams in Europe and EPL. I'm absolutely ecstatic about our club and players despite our minor recent blips.
Touch inconsistent as Ibra said about Alli but yes, with a fully fit squad it's the best I've known for a long time too. Jennings, Kinnear, Knowles, Mullery etc was my best team.
Now does this Arsenal team have the strength of character to stave off a thrashing? Will their heads drop?
They always drop them and bend over for Jose...........don't they? I hope Wenger, their fans and players brought lots of lube, eh?
