So smooth in what he did, I always thought Alonso was like him in his vision and passing, not saying Alonso is of that standard ( really hard to get to) but his passing reminds me of Socrates. Although Socrates could do it right, left, heel, toe, shin, whatever and it would be on a dime, with some change.

Socrates is in another league to most 'world class' midfielders out there at the moment. They don't make them like that anymore that's for sure.

This Brazil team would ruin any team around today (and people say football has improved!) -
Socrates of course being the man pulling all the strings.

    Goal number 2 - <yikes>

So predictions for the match tonight...

    I'm going for 2-1 Utd.

Looking at the team sheets Utd do look weak - but still strong enough to beat Spurs imo.

1-0 United. Spurs will defend well for most of the game but a 53th minute goal by Danny Welbeck will be the difference.

    <ok>

    Do it! ;)

I would be stunned if it did actually happen though... And I would be annoyed that I didn't put a quid on it!

Rooney to score first and Utd 2-1 - 21/1 (put a fiver on it)

VDV to score first Spurs to win 2-1 101/1 (put £2 on it)

I've probably just jinxed my bets but i don't care as i won a fair bit last weekend <ok>

Spurs to win 2-1 and VDV to score first is 101/1?! Bloody hell... That's stunning.

On the subject of VDV to score first, I had a quid on him to score first and Spurs to win 2-1 when they played Inter at home last season... VDV scored first and Spurs were 2-1 up till the 89th minute when Spurs got a third. It was 50/1. Being a student, I would have loved that £50!

You never know... Spurs haven't won at Old Trafford since 1989 so you can understand why the odds are that high!

Who do we WANT to win?

Obviously there is the emotion involved in not wanting Man Untied to win anything; however, call me Mr. pessimistic- but I think Spurs are going to be pushing for a top 4 spot whilst United battle City and Chelsea for the lead. I don't think Spurs are a serious threat... but could be a bit of one... We might need Spurs to drop points more.

Ah push it... Emotion rules over Logic... Go Spurs... a draw would do nicely though.

And Welbeck has scored in the 61th minute! <laugh>

Gonna be slighty annoyed if it does finish 1-0 with Welbeck getting the only goal!

Damn it! United 2-0 up. Anderson with the goal.

I had United to win 1-0 on the 'I know the score' feature so i'm slighty annoyed now!
