    Tell me about it.

    Phone - £40
    Child Support - £150
Dog food and Groomers - £100
    Gym - £25
Broadband, Phone and TV - about £75
    Hair cut - £15
New clothes - £200 on average

Then I have to think about eating, paying the mortgage and taking the bairn out on the weekends.

£100 month for the dog. I spend £40 on grooming and £60 on her food and treats. You've seen the size of the ****er.

I don't have a lass to take out like most lads do, so I save money there. Skye is my best mate, I'd give her my last and I don't mind spending on her.

Tip for you mate. The comparison sites use algorithms that seek to try and squeeze a bit more out of you if you get a price and then go back. So either use a different device or clear all your cookies before going back to make your choice. Same goes for holidays, flights etc

Yeah I didn't realise that about flights until recently. Apparently if you keep going back and checking the same flights, the algorithm starts to bump the price, ****ers. What I do now is get a price, then go to the airline direct, check the two prices on the websites and then ring the ****ers to see if they can get it down even more, which they usually do.

Booked a flight to Vancouver next May, quoted £479 online through a compare site, went direct to Air Transat and got it for £339. Obvs you need to be flexible about which day and times you're prepared to fly.

Anyway, I try and keep my monthly outgoings to a minimum. My mortgage is fairly small. I don't have a fancy lifestyle, nor do I crave one. Don't subscribe to any TV packages other than Netflix which is £5.99 pcm. The outdoors is my Gym. I own my car outright. Don't use credit cards. I buy my food locally which probably costs more than the supermarket, but I buy fresh when I need it rather than doing some stupid money shop on stuff I don't need. I don't smoke. I buy most of my clothes 2nd hand from ebay. All in all I'm pretty much a Pikey.

The missus likes new clothes and fancy treats, she's worth it so that's fine. My daughter seems to have developed the magpie syndrome too and loves to shop. I usually cave in when she wants something, which at the moment with her being 4 doesn't amount to much, but I realise I'm making a rod for my own back and it will soon be phones, tablets, and expensive **** rather than My Little Pony stuff.

The things I have no qualms about spending on is travel, or eating out at a quality restaurant. (and my bike)

I reckon I've got about £2,000 of DD's every month. That's before my Mrs goes and spends 5 million quid on the baby every day.

£45 for life assurance just in case Monty ever finds me and runs me over.

Change the date you want the insurance to start by a week or so and it goes down too.

Yeah but I'll be fine as my car was made in 2014. It'll only effect new models made after the change date <ok>
