Two Article's from the Sunday mirror this morning.

Manchester City are ready to let Emmanuel Adebayor join Tottenham on a free transfer two years after spending £25m to recruit the striker from Arsenal.

Wayne Bridge has rejected a loan move to Celtic, despite Manchester City being prepared to subsidise a season-long loan move to Parkhead.

Could it be Bellamy next ? if these facts are correct then surely Craig is on his way.

    Discuss.....

Well according to the express today Manchester City have accepted that it will cost them money to move the 5 frozen players out, but they claim Spurs will agree to pay 50% of Adebayors £170k a week but Daniel Levy has said he will not break Spurs wages structure which will mean they will pay no more than £55k per week.

    http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/266281/Manchester-City-s-misfits-on-the-move

The express claim Craig will go to Sunderland and maybe he will but if he says no, and I understand he told Man City he would rather sign for Swansea than go to Sunderland, he will get ever closer to getting his wish.

That will be to get his contract paid up and be able to sign for us, on manageable wages, for free on a 2 year contract. Watch this space I think

As I put up yesterday on the "Another bellamy Thread" AAMB (carl curtis) is reporting a deal has been done betwen Man City and Bellamy, I think the words used on AAMB were " Craig gets his wish" or that effect.
He then went on to say that Bellamy has a club already lined up once he is free and that club is NOT Cardiff.

Was normally a fair ITK but I wonder about this one due to Bellamy insisting h would find a way to come back to us if possible.
It is still my belief he will return unless it happens to be a top premier side that has come in for him.
It isn't stated that a bid was made and accepted, and if that was the case I am sure it would have made the news by now, so we can infer that Man City have made Bellamy an offer which he has accepted and his contract will be terminated.
Of course this assumes that Carl Curtis has been given correct information, something he has been a little short on since the new regime has come into power.

I'll stick to Bellamy coming to Cardiff as this seems the most likely scenario given his previous statements regarding his position.

    LOL@Rhondda
I think he is wrong on this one to be honest.
There is talk of the New York Red BUlls being a possible for him, and I would expect him to take an opportunity to play for one of the big PL teams.
But any other club mentioned isn't a reality for me, and even the red bulls seems a bit of a stretch due to his family and the disruption it would cause.

If there is any truth that an agreement has been made with Man City to terminate his contract, and I do believe this is the way most likely to go forward, then he is quite simply free to join us without suffering any money shortage.

PS: Thanks for posting the link, I should have done it really.
And before any one asks, I do not and never have posted on any other board but the 606's

I don't post on AAMB and not a member but I take a look every few days.

I can't see Craig going to the USA unless his wife will go with him. I think there are only 6 or 7 Prem clubs that might sway him but to me Cardiff are favorites.

The irony of this threads is Craig Bellamy's mother Angela is my cousin (both our Father's are Brothers) but when we chat in general and mention Craig amongst her other 3 children it seems Craig keeps his cards close to his chest and tends to not discuss these personal matters even to his family which i respect but can be a tad frustrating at times also.

Bellamy played for Newcastle he will not play for Sunderland, he has made two statement on tv and those make it clear it is Cardiff or he will stay at Man City in the reserves to see out his contract.

First they try to shift Bellamy to Celtic then Wayne Bridge and both have told them what they can do with that offer. They owe Man City no loyalty after the way they have been treated.

Someone at Man City will wake up one morning and work out what planet they are on, round about when the transfer window closes one assumes because right now they still think they can dictate where players go and how much the club they go to pay.

Like it or not the players signed contracts so if MC chose not to play them, as long as they pay what is due under the contracts and the players do not breach their contracts (like Bullard), the club can sit on them until the contracts end.

However, that is like throwing £10m down the drain just for this season and I can't believe their billionaire owners are that stupid - are they? <yikes>

Not sure if this is an urban myth or not but apparently, Etihad translated from Arabic means United (as an adjective). If true, and given the location, I'd say that was pretty stupid :D

Bellamy has always been favourite to join us with skybet apart from when we went 6-4 with Celtic until Bellamy put that straight and we went back to 4-9.

Sunderland have signed a lot of players and because he was mentioned they went 9-4 but now QPR have money they are in to 5-1 with Sunderland 11-4 and us at evens.

Now knowing his one ambition is to take Cardiff to the premiership who puts money on him joining QPR?

The only thing stopping him coming to us is the deal we need to bring him here. Bellamy has held out this long another week wont hurt him.

A couple of Dutch blokes in a Spanish bar told me about 3 weeks ago that Bellamy's agent was in contact with Feyonoord despite earlier rejections by the club. Don't whether this is true but thought I'd throw it into the mix. Has this any credence?

Bellamy's agents job is to make sure he knows every option available. If a club is interested it is his job to find out what they're willing to offer.

If Glasgow is too far away I would imagine Holland is.

I still believe if CB was going somewhere else it would be sorted by now. Everyone except Redknapp generally like to get their business sorted as early as possible for obvious reasons.

Can't see the Carl Curtis story being true, he has got a lot of attention from it though...........
