Lallana isn’t fit enough to start a game? He’s had one 20 minute cameo hasn’t he?

Ease him in gently, no point rushing him

Lallana has a slight niggle that's going to keep him out of contention for a few more days, I don't see him being available for Brighton

Henderson will be in there sadly.

I like luvs lineup but don't think it will happen. Not just the lallana issue either.

Nice team but don't think he will play Robertson, TAA or Lallana. Gomez is coming on leaps and bounds, shame he isn't letting Robertson show what he's got because the small glimpse we have had, looked very promising.

Jürgen Klopp confirms Joel Matip injury

Liverpool are set to be without the services of Joel Matip for Saturday’s trip to Brighton due to injury, Jürgen Klopp today confirmed.

The centre-back sustained a knock during the midweek victory at Stoke City and will miss the Reds’ encounter with the Seagulls at the AMEX Stadium.

Liverpool have no further injury concerns, however, as they aim to extend their unbeaten run to eight matches.

Klopp told his pre-Brighton press conference: “It looks like Joel Matip is out. After the game he had a problem, he felt something muscle-wise. We have to make the final assessment but it doesn’t look like he is available for tomorrow. That’s pretty much all.

“Adam Lallana is still building up his fitness; Ragnar Klavan was ill but hopefully he is not anymore, especially when you think about Joel Matip’s situation. It’s not that we have a big choice to make in defence, so that’s the situation.

“We had a few knocks how it is after a game, and it is the shorter part of the week with Wednesday and Saturday [games]. It’s not a long time to recover from different things.

“Final decisions will be made after the session at three o’clock [today

    Couldn't agree more.

We'll end up playing Mane and Salah together for half the season only at this rate!

Get out there and bring home the bacon!! Rest when the jobs done

Crying off a little too often isn't he

To be fair I'll be no more nervous with Klavan in, they're all as bad as each other - but are also capable of doing ok. You just don't know what you'll get!

    * disclaimer - always expect at least one massive mistake
