My mate's brother in law worked there for quite a while after the collapse of communism. Great place for a night out. Amazing how in a few years they transformed it from a grey, drab place with no life to a bright, lively one. After hearing tales he was told it is no surprise they hate the Russians as much as the Germans. We don't know how lucky we have been growing up in this country.

Yes, posted loads of posts about Sluts coming from Volgograd/Stalingrad. And not as many about other things as the constant referals to Hull in the war, and using it for 70 years of excuses about thecstate if the city. Something cities which fared far, far worse around Europe in the war don't constantly mention.
