I'm afraid this tournament is not as revered by me as much as it was in the past, continuing scandals, the likes of Sepp Blatter and his cronies and not least the total disrespect to the referee. Jack Taylor was not to be messed with despite some serious intimidation from certain South American countries.
Hosted by the man of principles Gary Lineker. If Sepp Blatter was still in charge he wouldn't have done it, so never mind about all the other FIFA goings on then.
Will he be settling his tax bill whilst he is there and give everyone a lecture on Brexit? Or maybe negotiate some more endorsments to supplement the meagre wages we pay him through our TV licence?
You're on a roll this week. Didn't this mornings first choccy from your advent calendar cheer you up? Even a little bit??
He pays a small fortune in UK tax. He's entitled to post his opinion on anything he likes on his personal Twitter feed, just like the rest of us. Don't try and drag a political topic onto this thread (or any other thread). Ta.
Remember that the next time someone brings Trump or Brexit into a discussion. Or starts a thread on tax evasion. Which continued without hindrance. And what has politics to do with saying a "celebrity" is a two faced hypocrite?
**** yeah. Small tree with boxes hanging from it, each box has 2 Lindor chocs in it, one for me, one for missus. Love Christmas.
Aha http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...me-does-start-today-tv-channel-could-england/ Yeah, 3pm is the draw (GMT).
I'm ignoring Christmas. However, if the wife wishes to decorate, put up a tree, cook some meals and anyone wants to buy me a present it would be churlish of me to stop them. I suppose the least I can do is get some drinks in just in case a visitor wants some cider, gin, rum or any other drink I like. Though unfortunately, due to some issues, I am having to restrict alcohol intake. Bah! Humbug!
