Dear Budgies I appreciate that Saturday's result will have brought smiles to all your beaks. Whilst I don't dispute your right to have a wind up and a dig, I do have one request. We have lost count over on the Ipswich Town board of the number of times that budgies have posted the hilarious thought that we should appoint Ferguson Jnr by way of referring to your appointment of Lambert after the Colchester humiliation. This joke has worn rather thin now and whilst you folk are not known for your original thought or wit, we would be indebted if we could put an end to the Ferguson-phenomenon. Thank you for your time. With love Hamps.
Of course you lot didn't joke when we lost 7-1 I am thinking that maybe Jewell should stay, just to humiliate you further!
I don't know if you know this but we lost 7-1, got the opposing teams manager. <gasp>Maybe YOU should do the same!!! Also!!! Did you know out joint majority shareholder is a cook!!!! I KNOW!!! why aren't more people mentioning this!!!! I mean, just imagine the puns you could make up because she's a COOK. I mean!!! Think of the possibilities "canaries cooking up a storm in the premier league!" I'm so ****ING CLEVER!!!
Like I would want that cook sucking weasel anywhere near my club! He would soon run off to daddy at the first sign of trouble!
I think you're trying to start an e-petition to swap ferguson for jewell, but why he'd want to leave the might POSH, i have no idea. It is a pity that PJ's daddy isn't AF, so he could go and get some help PDQ
Judging by some of the shocking decisions the officials made I think his Dad may have slipped them a few quid beforehand!
Just entertained myself with the Peterborough/Ipswich highlights! Awful performance from 1p5wich, both red cards were red cards. I've seen the incidents like the first result in only a yellow, but it was a malicious tackle that took out the Peterborough player and for the second it was a simple trip. I need some way of saving the highlights!
I must admit that match fixing did cross my mind at one point Warky, especially when he gave the pen that wasn't even in the D.
It is a shame that Hampy cannot see the funny side of this and takes this seriously. It is only some friendly banter.
No, it wasn't Darren Ferguson who was manager of the team that beat us 7-1, that was Paul Lambert who was manager of Colchester at the time and we nicked him from them (well, 450k) after that match and he has been doing really, really well for us. I was suggesting you did the same thing, but with the team that beat you 7-1, who were Peterborough and their manager is Darren Ferguson who I was suggesting that you nick. Der, I thought it was obvious
Sorry Sid, but I think you may have missed JWM's sense of humour. The smileys might have given it away really.
