Chelsea have a wonderful habit of getting rid of top players. Seeing as @chelsea - over 100 years of history likes a thread or two designed to lay into other clubs let's make a list and detail just how ****ing silly Chelsea are in the transfer market. 1. Kevin De Bruyne Sold for very little and may well be the best player in the world right now. It was the equivalent of Utd thinking "nah this young Ronaldo isn't that good we'll sell him on". Any others?
He was part of the squad if that's what you mean? he was a massive flop for them there's no disputing that tibes, maybe even the worst in chav history, just above veron/shevchenko
Lukaku, although we replaced him with Costa. And to be fair, he scored crucial goals that won us 2 titles. The players, I wish we had kept were Chalobah and Ake
1 Alan Mayes 2 Robert Fleck 3 Chris Sutton 4 Gordon Davies 5 asa Hartford 6 cascarino We have had so many bad strikers it is unreal
Are you saying he was a success at chavski? How can I be bitter, we sold him for 50m which at the time was absolutely top dollar, his career then almost immediately nosedived, I couldn't be more happy about how it went at Chelsea for him the traitor bastard, so of course not bitter
He did alright there, won 2 European pots and an FA Cup, far from a disaster. The FSW had ruined him at the RS by continually rushing him back after injury. He lost his explosive burst of pace, but he remained a good player as he still is.
Can we throw in promising players Chelsea bought so that other clubs couldn't buy them? Mo Salah Cuadrado Remy Schurrle
He did alright there? Yeah did he **** tobes lol couple of trophies cannot hide the fact he flopped massively at the chavs. Massive flop
He did **** all there from his own footballing perspective just found himself at a club going places and managed the odd appearance. Mad Dog hired Benitez to get the best out of him since he thought he knew him the best
