Does this mean I have to think of the next one ? Ok. Which musician first played a duet with someone who was on an international space station at the time ? Thus making it the most spacially distanced duet of all time. ?
Sorry BB. this one was 2 years earlier, and was for the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's trip. It was the first of it's kind. When I set the question I didn't realized that someone else had copied the experiment 2 years later. I am talking about the first one, which was actually incorporated into a concert in Moscow.
This was the one BB. Rather unflattering to Ian Anderson that the 'deranged flamingo' clue was so easy, but he was referred to as that by some musical magazine long ago. Saw him many a time in the 70s. The duet with Cady Coleman was in honour of the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's first manned spaceflight on in April 2011. Over to you.
Cheers cologne. Which capital city has approximately nine times the area of New York, but only a ninth of the population?
Cheers BB. A footy one. Who was the first foreign player (non British) to appear in the World Cup Finals whilst playing his club football for an English club ?
Blimey - how far back do we have to go? I'll take a punt on Steve Finnan - he was playing for Fulham when he appeared for Ireland in the 2002 World Cup.
I think Ossie Ardiles played for Argentina in the the 1982 World cup while a Spurs player, but not sure that he was the first.
