I bet they are both happy they have moved on to pastures new, because they certainly would not be achieving the same success with you sags ;)

Maynard has played 95 league and cup games since coming to the Championship and scored 41 goals, when Rickyeeeee plays and scores as many games and goals as Nicky at Championship level then you can compare.....:emoticon-0126-nerd:

Yep, the class of donuts. Lambert walks all over Maynard, not just as a striker, but as a football player :)

No but I seen him when he was at Crewe a few times. Good goal scorer, but not an intelligent player like Lambert <ok>

Not as fat as Lambert you mean and with 5 times the ability with age also on his side. Maynard will also play in the Premiership and Lambert wont.

Shane Long's start for WBA may bump up Maynard's price - shows that Championship strikers can score goals in the Premiership.

Lambert is a fantastic striker, and contributes more than just goals to his game he is an extremely talented footballer. Its agreed almost unanimously that if we were to sign Maynard he would be incase Lambert or our other first choice striker David Connoly becomes injured.

    I've heard it all now.

Saints - You have a great stadium and a good start to the season - count your blessings.

    But don't be silly.

    ^^^^^^^^^^ What he said.

You Saints are beginning to get on everyone's nerves. Great start to be fair, but for goodness sake get a grip.

Maynard would be first choice striker in practically every Championship side.

To say you have a couple better than him is either the one-eyed view of a fan who can't see further than Hampshire, or someone who knows nothing about Championship football.

Probably in your case - both.
