It’s been a while since I’ve read up on this but I think he was a very willing Nazi and worked in the death camps. He was a **** back then and I don’t think he should be excused his participation in genocide just because he’s, ironically, made it to the age of 96. He watched children being gassed to death.

Na just messing. They should be a cut off point for bringing people to justice. Say 50 years as an example. I just don't see any point in jailing a 96 year old who has probably lived a decent life after the war.

Read the bit above where you highlighted.

It was a different world back then, it's not like it was his idea to start a holocaust. I've no doubt the dude just kept following orders, which is the right thing to do.

Trying to prosecute somebody that age after 70 odd years is pathetic.

He followed orders after he enthusiastically signed up to work for the Nazi party. He’s admitted that.

Why should he be forgiven just because he’s old?

When did he enthusiastically sign up for the Nazi party? Many a good person thought they were great at first.

It makes a point. If you ever do anything that ****, then we won't ever forget about it. Keep looking over your shoulder, ****head.
Even if nothing ever happens, it's good to keep arseholes on their toes. <ok>

    Yep this <ok>

Don't agree that because a lot of time has elapsed that people's crimes should be waived.

They froze the video just as he was about to drink the poison, otherwise I suppose it would have been a snuff movie. But yeah the ****er died in Hospital a short while afterwards.

The guy was proved to have worked in Auschwitz during the Holocaust.

    He should swing.

    Whether he's 40, 60, 80, 100, or 150 years old.

Justice shouldn't be time-limited, whether he was an accountant, a tower guard, a kitchen superintendent or an SS Obergruppenfuhrer.
