I fell asleep before the second half so missed it too. Sounds like we were a bit unlucky and Pep was a bit of a cock.
Thought Saints were really unfortunate, you had a couple of great chances in the first half too and could have scored 2 or 3 in that game. Also there was some controversy at the end as the allotted injury time was well up when Sterling scored. Pep time.
Didn't see anything wrong with the City 2nd goal. It was 3 seconds over the allotted "minimum" time, and City were on the attack - so don't think anyone would say it was a terrible decision Also thought the disallowed goal the minute before was fine - two players jumping for the ball... just shows how protected keepers are! Not too sure how Mignolet didn't get sent off either
The ref booked him so did see it, should have been red though. You win some you lose some, got lucky last night tbh. Although having Salah to come on against tired legs is an oppositions worst nightmare.
I was expecting something truly spectacular for Rooney's goal - bit disappointed when I saw it. Very good goal but not as good as some have said. I think Ern said it was goal of the decade
we're showing more heart than we have for a year, which shows how bad Bilic has been. The scoreline flattered Everton massively, Lanzinin puts that penalty in and the game is completely different, they were struggling to get out of their half, but that's the way it goes .Never rated Hart, like most West Ham fans I prefer Adrian, he would've kept the score-line a bit more acceptable and probaby would've cleared the ball rather than kicking it into the middle of the park for Rooney to 1 touch from 60 yards. Looking at our next fixtures, if we aren't bottom at Christmas it'll be a ****ing miracle.
Yea had to google it. Wasn't that great, it was a controlled strike because no one was in goal. He didn't hit it that hard and it bounced way before it even hit the net. Now Charlie Adams strike against Courtois that was special!
yeah its what pep does to me. He's a plonker and he's my latest schadenfraude target. Whenever he cries, my day gets a lot better
Why did Conte get sent off last night? I missed MOTD. I do worry about Conte at times, guy looks like he's going to explode, I thought Klopp was bad but holy **** this dude is ****ing bonkers. Did you enjoy watching the Chelsea reject last night?
We were good value for the 2-0 at HT. Moyes changed it at HT and you were much better in the 2nd half, but barring the Cresswell shot that hit the bar, you didn't create any real scoring chances before Williams gifted you a sloppy penalty. The save killed you and we romped it again from there. You're the worst side we've played his season and that includes Limassol
normally watch MOTD a day or 2 afters (when it comes out on iplayer) so haven't seen it yet. Conte got sent off for supposedly arguing for a corner (it was). Think he was complaining about time wasting as well. Didn't see what happened just saw the ref go over and send him off. I said from the start he was decent. Anyway yes he is a reject, if he was a bit better he'd be playing for the team thats above the one he is at . Or if he was better he'd have finished City off when he had those chances
