Cheers Syd, I have calmed down a little from Saturday when I ended up being distraught by what I saw in the 2nd half from my team and manager and my earlier posts were full of hurt.
However I thought in the middle of last seasons bad run SB had to show he had learnt from his mistakes at the beginning of this and in some ways the signings he made seem to indicate he had. But his choice of players for saturday and where they were playing, and the fact we have not made the signings that were even more needed before the ones we have made and then losing to the mags again is just beyond the pale. He is a decent bloke, perhaps a good scout, but a poor manager... To be further discussed at the next home game?

I find no argument for that post if we look at it from a cold hard facts point of view.

Steve I'm sorry the SAF argument doesn't hold water with me.
He is the best man manager I have seen.
Even he can't work miracles against a well oiled machine that was Barca.
He isn't afraid to kick high paid players up the arse when they aren't towing the line, (or out the door!) and we have seen him on innumerable occasions change what is happening on the pitch by tactical nous.

Bruce gets the blame as he has consistently failed to plug these left sided gaps.
And I honestly believe, he thinks Richardson is a good left back.

Also I can't think of one game where I sat and thought Bruce got his tactics spot on there.

Great post. I voiced my concerns at the management but at no time called anyone who does want to support him. Today, the Bruce supporters come on and call me and others who have finished with Bruce the usual mogadons (what the **** that is I have no idea mind) and disloyal blah, blah, blah.

I have my opinion. Its n#by no means certain it is the majority but then wanting to be a part of the popular pack never has been my wish. I state my case of why Bruce is finished in my eyes and those who think otherwise can state theirs. Who is right and who is wrong will be dealt with on the pitch.

I will ALWAYS support SAFC no matter what but I have washed my hands as far as Bruce is concerned. Those that wish to retain support for Bruce thats fine too but please refrain from questioning those that don't loyalty and comitment to the club either.

We love SAFC as much as anyine but just have a different opinion on who should manage the club.

I think Martin O Neill or David Moyes would be far better. If you all think Bruce is better thats fine.

I'm actually in turmoil on this, agreeing in the main with both sides of the argument.

I feel like that ****er off Harry Enfield.

Would i replace Bruce now with MON? No chance.

    Would i with Moyes? Absolutely.

I'm sorry my OP seems lost on many. My point is not Bruce in or Bruce out but being fair.

Hav I read....SOLD BENT AND NOT REPLACED....thought I had. I agree yes we sold Bent and have not replaced, no argument. My argument is why blame it all on Bruce? If it was a major error then why not blame Quinn, gives the go ahead. Short, writes the cheques.

Why are a few getting so uptight and shouting, its just my opinion, I am not part of a Bruce out club. Then saying, happy clappers, herd, Bruce in gang.

I'm not a Bruce in, I am of the opinion that right now is not the right time for Bruce out, whats so hard to understand.

The point I'm trying to make BB is as Cest has said quite eloquently, I'm not putting down those that support Bruce.
Or having a go at their opinions, I'm also not calling them names or getting personal.
But! (There's that ****ing but again!)
I do feel those of us that don't feel Bruce is up to the job are getting the ****ty end of the stick.
All this continuing Bruce brigade, as if we aren't real life long supporters, with valid concerns.
I really do LOVE SAFC and they will always come first.
And to be frank I don't think the posters voicing concerns over Bruce, deserve this continual haranguing that is going on.
To say mine or anyone else's dislike of our manager will drive Short and Quinn out is totally uncalled for and imho just another stick to beat us with.
They say they are voicing their opinions, which is fair enough, but not when it gets personal.

Why? if people believe that this could be the case, which I most certainly do, then why shouldn't we express this opinion..

Don't doubt for a second anyone's love of the club, and i, for one feel both sides of the argument have plenty of weight.

His signings have been a massive step forward, contrast he has often played them out of position, or not at all.

For 3-0 at Chelsea, read 5-1 at SJP.

Unquestionably he is slow to react when the team is lacking bite.

Unquestionably he knows we need 2 more players, but his hands are tied if the moneys not there.

It's a real melting pot of pro's and cons, if we'd lost to Everton at the weekend, people would have been more of the line of 'new signings need time', the timing of the derby has amplified it, but it has also reminded us of ongoing problems that Bruce hasn't rectified.

It's a tough ****ing nut, but i don't think now is the right time for him to go, i'd give it to November, and if things ain't right, look to get someone in for the Januray window.

I'd drop him for Moyes, as i have stated, as Moyes is the best manager in the league bar SAF.

The point I made Syd was I'm not using those same terms to have a pop at someone else's differing opinion.
I have and hope not to be proved wrong, always stood my ground without attacking someone personally. MUGS don't count.

Where as derogatory terms are thrown at people questioning Bruce none stop.
