I would have sympathy cos I like you ... but it's United and Jose so I find myself unable to give a toss
He's too pragmatic for 96th minute winners. City did it at Bournemouth earlier this season - and turned the game around late on this Sunday. Their status as Harlem Globetrotter style world beaters might be exaggerated, but they are getting results. We aren't good enough to chase them down even if they had dropped points in games like the one tonight. 24 games left, but.......
Poch's team talk ahead of the Watford game should just be a large canvas print-out of the league table. If that isn't enough to motivate this lot they can **** right off and I'll gladly play instead for free. 'Humbling' is the first word that came to mind when I saw tonight's results. No words came to mind when I saw the Everton result mind you, only loud snorting noises.
Thank you. Much appreciated. And please accept my condolences for the straight red I assume Mignolet received for this foul:
Keep the faith, we will be back up there. Let's not have any Poch out nonsense and let's get the win to start us again. Also yes, let's have good work goals.
I'd like to say the same for spurs and their league position....but I'm not so sure you'll be back. Do you think that mean the inevitable dismantling of your squad is a forgone conclusion? If you finish outside the top4 I mean?
What a crap week, so bad in fact that the only good thing about it is Rooneys goal - that is a magnificent strike I am not his biggest fan but I take my hat off to him for that (and I am bald so it will be bloody cold) It gets better everytime I see it
Bet I'm balder than you unless you shave you head every morning, in which case we are equal. I can't stand grey hair, it makes me look so bloody old.
I asked a referee about this and he believes that the assessor will agree with this decision, as the official successfully managed the game. Both teams kept 11 men on the pitch and it didn't descend into violence, so it's all good, basically. Mignolet may have been going for the ball and didn't intentionally and deliberately stop Diouf from scoring, so a red might not be necessary. It maintains the spectacle and keeps the entertainment going. They really don't understand why people watch the game. It's bizarre.
So, being crap and the watching millions in Asia amount to a get out of jail card? How does that help the team that were denied an absolute certain goal? I've heard it all now.
I don't get how they tally it with the ridiculous time wasting we've seen recently either, but I'm just passing on the information. If the laws of the game are just vague guidelines and the officials are more storytellers than adjudicators, then it makes sense. Certainly explains a lot of the more ridiculous decisions that we see, doesn't it?
If officials had to submit to media interviews, as managers do, a lot of this bollocks would come to an end. They're impervious to righteous criticism and whilst that remains the case, they do as they see fit. If you asked that ref..........."Haven't you just allowed Liverpool to deny Stoke a certain goal and imposed a meaningless yellow card?", what's he going to say........"Mignolet's so bloody bad, I thought I'd let it go?". Let them try and explain it themselves and then things might get interesting.
Is there on wum on this board pretending to be a spurs fan? Genuine question so apologies if I am misunderstanding
