Clement is anti football, all he does is setup not to lose, no ambition to win games.

Sanchez has to be one of the worst players I've ever seen in a Swans shirt :emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0121-angry

We're lucky that Chelsea are not on their game in that first half otherwise we would have been hammered already. I'd expect Chelsea to seriously up their game now 2nd half.

We should be more solid now. Take Sanchez out of the equation and we've had a decent shape. just need a bit more attack from mid-field and we could get a break away

Had to come, at least Bony got an assist.

We'll see what we're made of now but I think we're doing OK considering where we are and who's in charge.

VDH playing well now he's got the chance, putting Fernandez in his place, Mawson too but neither are getting any support from out wide where Chelsea are walking passed who ever is out there.

We just haven't got the team any more. Going through our starting lineup it is so much weaker than what we have had over the last few years.
    Mawson or Williams?
    VDH or Chico?
    Olsson or Ben Davies?
    Naughton or a younger Rangel?
    Mesa or Joe Allen?
    Ki or Siggurdsson?
    Carrol or De Guzman?
    Jordan Ayew or Michu?
Bony and Fab are the only 2 that would stay in the lineup. We have regressed a ridiculous amount. It's not the players fault, they are just playing to their ability. Its the ****tards that handled the transfer windows that have put us in this mess.

VDH and Mawson were decent tonight, Fab was incredible, I'm starting to worry about losing him now. Fer did very well when he came on, makes me wonder if we'll see Sanchez in a Swansea shirt again, a lot of fans certainly don't and he doesn't seem to want to be here either. He disgraced himself in the first half and he was lucky Clement spared him till half-time to get hooked.
Second half was better from us, but we'll need better still to get a result against Stoke on Saturday, Carroll in particular will need to step up his game and hopefully Ayew will not start.

MVdH and Fede should be our go to pairing until Bartley is back a and can be assessed. Mawson played well tonight and is OK doing the simple things.
Goalkeepers are strange - he'll stay but I have heard rumours (gossip) that he wants to be somewhere he'll be considered as first choice for Poland.
Sanches will be a regular until we break the loan agreement which will see us still paying and probably having to keep him in the first team. A gamble that hasn't paid off IMO.
Chelsea took it easy, even rested player and treated us like a League Cup opponent, embarrassing.

Another loss but at least there were signs of encouragement. Second half we played reasonably well but its that twat in the dug out that is killing us.

We needed wingers today, every man and his dog knows Chelsea are rock solid through the middle but, if their weakness, if they have one, is defending out wide. So what did Clement do, select the narrowest team he possible. We had Bony up top, lined up right behind him Ayew, right behind him the abysmal Sanchez, right behind him Carroll with Mesa behind them all. If you joined them up you'd have a straight line from one D to the other. The only width we had was hinted at by our full-backs who tried to get up there but they're not wingers and only Olson can get near the by-line but neither can deliver a cross but neither can Ki, Fer, Carroll and it goes without saying, Sanchez

Positives for me - VDH proved again in his second start that he a far better CB than Fernandez. He played well and if we had a decent manager then I'd say he is a starter with Mawson from here on in. Not because Mawson is any where near his hype but because both are better than Fernandez.

Bony looks fit and he showed too that he is good enough to start, if only because he has more of a complete game than Abraham. He is great defending corners and its not just a gesture when he comes deep to support the defense, he's actually effective where as Abraham is not, imo. Abraham has scored goals but I'm pretty sure that Bony would have tapped in the goals Abraham has if he played those games.

The other big plus I'm embarrassed to say is that surely now Clement has to listen to fans, pundits and even commentators regarding Sanchez. He is not doing the boy any favors by throwing him into a situation he just isn't ready for. He is not a first team player and has to go back to bite the bullet and go back to U23 football and get his head straight. Playing in the first team is killing any confidence he may have left. So Clement, stop being such a knob and look after your boy.

Biggest worry though is still the dunce in the dugout. Is he man enough to admit his mistakes, drop Abraham to the bench and be cruel to be kind for Sanchez sake. Will he man up and make his tactics more aggressive and look for goals and wins as opposed to setting the team up for a nil-nil draw. He needs to push the team in training and go back to basics. Its not rocket surgery, he needs to get the team to re-learn how to string a couple of passes together and also re-learn how to cross a ball because at this point in time there is not one player in our team who can do those things consistently and effectively. That's a crime, its also the coaches job to make sure they can do the simple things well.

The last two performances have been an improvement so there's a glimmer of hope but it all depends on whether Clement has the minerals. Can he turn the team around and away from the direction he was taking them. Does he have the guts to say he was wrong and go get Curt?
Personally I don't think that's in him but we're stuck with him until Christmas at least so I'll continue to cheer the team, curse his name and pray for a miracle (which could be difficult me not being religious n'all)
