Yeah I predicted 6th at the start of the season and that's what I would still say.

So frustrating we haven't dealt with the problems at the back we've had for a good 3 years now.

They need to sort it because it's border line incompetent.

Surprise there with Solanke starting and Coutinho on the bench with Salah, Hendo also on the bench.

Good on Solanke and that but I just feel we are giving stoke huge encouragement and they will know all they need is crouch on and a couple set pieces.

if mane plays.left and ox wide right and we do this 4222 thing maybe I can hope...

klopp can only accept that if you play with fire the risk.is you get burned.

Solanke starting is the only big surprise there really, others being rested or out of form. That's what the squad is for.

Hope Solanke does well, I wonder why this game. Klopp sees something?

 

Don't mind Coutinho being rested, he hasn't been all that lately. Salah though, he should be playing at every opportunity.
Glad to see Solanke get some game time though

 

Salah needs resting the same as everyone else surely?

 

For a few seasons now one of our problems has been a lack of squad depth. Now we have some depth Klopp is using it to try and avoid the burnout we experienced in December and January last season. No doubt Salah could play but if we can win and give him a rest at the same time it could pay dividends later.

 

I am happier with that team than the chav game. Lets get the 3 points

 

good to see Salah Get a rest - surprised that Robertson wasn’t picked either.

Lallana injured again - more injured than Sturridge these days.

Hoping that a Gini and can midfield will give us more solidity in the middle.

 

Think the medical / fitness team are getting a bit more of a say this year with the exception of LB. Assume TAA starts on Saturday & probably Robertson (if not if i was him i would be pissed off) though the Solanke start is a surprise & raises questions re Firmino's fitness.

 

It’s also a shame that Lovren isn’t still injured.

Glad I thought twice about making Coutinho my FF captain

Still like him to come on and score though.

 

Bit silly resting Salah and Couthinho in preparation for Brighton because Stoke will be a bigger test despite their lowly placing in the table, plus Saturday gives any player getting a knock less time to recover for next Wednesday.
