Nobody is saying the only people that dump stuff are travellers, where on earth did you get that idea.? What I am saying is a large percentage of travellers have little respect for our countryside and regularly dump or leave rubbish after they move on.

The question is the newsworthiness of it - imagine the following dialogue:
I go into the office of the Daily Mail and say 'I've got a video of 3 men dumping a fridge' - answer - 'Are you pulling my plonker mate, we can't sell that !'. 'But, they were 'travellers' - you know, those undesirables of possible European/Rumanian origins'. Answer - 'Ah that is different, have a cigarre my good fellow - how much do you want'. In other words - the deed itself was not newsworthy, the only interest in making it so was that of stirring up hatred against a whole group of people.

As this kind of crime does not effect you living where you do, I suspect your knowledge of it is as good as your know how on cars.
The antisocial behaviour and the aggression of those involved would have been sufficient to have shown the recording, travellers or not.
If it is possible to throw them out of the country if convicted then great.

How do you know what kind of crime effects us living here ? If it really is more of a problem in Britain than in Germany than maybe you should ask why ? It has certainly nothing to do with the numbers of immigrants because Germany has more.

You need to concentrate more, I have not deleted anything. Foreign lawbreaking travellers should be deported if found guilty.

I lived in Northamptonshire for 35 years, and the nearest town was Brackley. One of the most useful things was the small but well equipped library. 25 years ago it was not usual for everyone to have home computers, in fact many of the villages had such a poor telephone line they were almost useless. The library being in town did have a computer with decent speed, but if you wanted to use it you had to book a 15 minute slot.
Today the library still has the computers, several these days, but also acts as a food bank, issues bus passes, blue badges, runs children's clubs during holiday periods when parents are working, and in total has about 50 functions.
The government has cut the County Council grant meaning that they have to save £115M over a four year period on services such as Brackley library. Looking into how they can make these savings a consultation has produced a document showing that 28 out of the entire counties 36 be closed. Despite having a large Tory majority on the NCC, they are one of the lowest funded councils in the country. Despite appeals to national government no additional funding has been offered.

Banbury was a larger town just over the county border, but had a hospital that served not only Oxfordshire, but Northants, Warwicks, and Bucks. Last year they removed the maternity service from the hospital, and now the fight is on as they try to close A&E, and the children's wards. The problem here is that they cannot staff it. Insufficient doctors and nurses makes it a liability rather than a service for a large area, including accidents on the nearby M40.

Something is badly wrong when people keep having straight forward services lost, things that were available 25 years ago. I admit that I have an interest in the hospital situation as the doctors and nurses there saved the life of my son when he was hurt in a road traffic accident. Would he have lived if he had spent 45 minutes on the road to Oxford I don't know, but I wouldn't wish to see another parent lose a loved one simply because the government was not doing a proper job.

Actually I don't think it has even been established that the 3 men were 'travellers'. All I can see is 3 men, a van, and a fridge. Bearing in mind that the word 'traveller' means 'of no fixed abode', whereas the use of a fridge is normally associated with 'settled' living (depending on the type of fridge) it is more likely that we are talking about 3 'normal' Englishmen disposing of an unwanted/broken fridge coming from a house/flat situated somewhere nearby. Why the automatic assumption that they were 'travellers' - because they were in possession of a vehicle at the time ? In which case the woman was also a 'traveller'.

They were clearly good samaritans decorating the countryside, probably a Nobel Peace winner amongst them, silly me.

All I am saying is that there were no grounds for making any assumptions about them - it is not only travellers who dump rubbish in the countryside. Even more serious than this are the numbers of holidaymakers who leave pets in the countryside.

The point is that you automatically came to the conclusion that they were 'travellers' in the video whereas there was no evidence to support this - you then promptly connected the whole thing to the subject of possible deportation. This form of connective reasoning can only lead to one conclusion. Everyone knows that flytipping is a problem - becoming worse by the fact that we only produce things to last for a couple of years (fridges, washing machines, computers etc.), combining with rising costs to actually dispose of these things. Every year we have a collecting day, in the area where I live - people who volunteer to scour the area collecting flytipped rubbish (I've done this as well) - it is amazing what we actually find ! We don't know who dumped this or that - it may even have been builders. In fact fly tipping by firms (in particular construction firms) is also a problem. What 'travellers' leave is only the very visual tip of the iceberg.

DUP MP Sammy Wilson has warned that his party's deal to support the Conservative government could be jeopardised by the Brexit negotiations.

He said any attempt to "placate Dublin and the EU" could mean a withdrawal of DUP support at Westminster.

The DUP opposed the Good Friday agreement, and would love to see a hard border again. We should see within the next 10 days which way the government will jump. My guess would be that the EU will get the nod.

Why go on the attack if you are innocent eh...? I really cant be bothered to dialogue with you any more as you just are so abusive...
You edited or deleted a post in which you inferred post-brexit such 'travellers' would be deported... and you did it minutes after you posted it... as i was replying to what i saw to be an inflammatory and/or racist posting
