I've not seen that before - very good! That is pretty much the last decade of supporting Newcastle. Don't mind West Brom but you've got to wonder what they're expecting to happen next really, surely Pullis and even Megson are better than those ****tards.
I guess we'll see how good (or Bad) Pardew is now. He was always operating within Ashley's structure at NUFC - not in control of transfer activity
He'll keep them up as he does seem to get an initial reaction but he'll be sacked around this time next year. Big Sam will drag Everton up to mid table. I think Swansea will sack Clement in the next couple of weeks and Pulis is a shoe in for that job. So that's those two safe. Huddersfield and Brighton look like they have enough about them to survive. I'd worry if I was Stoke, Newcastle, West Ham and Palace. Think it might come down to Stoke and Newcastle and whoever sacks their manager will stay up. I think Stoke are more likely to sack Hughes and bring someone new in to see them to safety. They have quality throughout their squad
Really? So you’re defining a 10-year manager career by 3 years up the road? He’s done the same in all jobs, initially strong then fall away. He actually was doing very well at Southampton but then something happened and he was fired. I’d imagine West Brom are going to be fine as they have some very solid players, it will only define Pardew if he moves them forward. Difficult, as they finished top half last 2 years.
I thought he was there longer than 3 years, but yeah, Newcastle is his most recent role (I'm sure you will correct me if it is not), so that's why I would look to compare with that. You obviously disagree
No, not fully, Newcastle was most high profile but Palace most recent and he had fortunes to spend there and ****ed it up. He’s a hard one to judge, he always has an impact then seems to alienate everyone. Folk where plugging him for England when Palace has a decent run, then it went fully tits up.
I'm sure all these managers are in cahoots with eachother. 'Lets all start off doing a reasonable job then we'll start doing ****' And so begins the merry go round of signing on fees and compensation packages.
Swansea. They have been flogging off their best players on a regular basis for a while, and getting away with it. It looks, to me, as if that chicken has now come home to roost. Only Pulis or Sam can save them and they are not big enough for Sam. Huddersfield Town. Did what a lot of promoted sides do and started of like a house on fire. Recent results have dropped off and they look to have a weak squad. Come the cold February night games I expect them to be just about worn out. I suspect that we are going to have to wait till after the January Window closes to have any real idea about the relegation favourites. At the other end of the Table though, I'm mightily impressed with Burnley. All on a shoestring budget too.
Agree with Swansea, they're ****e. Huddersfield have looked really good and organised. I don't expect them to go down, this season. Swansea, Palace and West Brom/Newcastle/West Ham
